Thanks. I just found out why I had such a problem with this. The survey ship doesn't have an icon for me. The other ships do but not the survey ship. It doesn't in the ship list and it doesn't in the starbase window. Of course if I clicked where the icon should be I got the menu where I could eject the ship. Thanks for helping me find it though.
So I drove my survey ship onto one of my space stations hoping it would repair faster, which it seems it did. But after that I can't seem to move it away from the station again. In the ship list it just says "stationed" and even if I select it I can't find any way to move it. Same thing if I select the space station instead or go into it's management screen. I can't see any way to move stationed ships. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

With your healthy attitude regarding DRM and piracy really made me want to support that, so I went ahead and bought it. It's still a nice game b
