Nice article/video, thanks. Ashes is really pretty game, although i could nitpick few visual deficiencies, the unit design though, is indeed neat. Supreme Commander was indeed very well done in this regard, some of its unit designs became classics - like MonkeyLord or the UEF mobile base (whatever was its name)... I would say bigger challenge than differentiate visually between factions (human, alien, whatever else) is to differentiate between the different unit types of a

From there you could prbly take a quick look at each of them and see if any pique your interest. Not sure exactly what you might find fun and interesting, but maybe you'll find something. Anyways, just let me know if you'd want said list and I'll post it. [/quote] Feel free to give some tips!

So i bought 3 big games lately, around Christmas: - Call of Duty WW2, - Forza Horizon 3 - PES 2018, and sadly, as expected, i played them nowhere near enough to justify their price. Oh well.

As a massive Sins fan i feel sad seeing money being poured into pointless legal battles over StarControl, when it could be used to more productive endeavors...like developing next Sins game. Cant shake the feeling that Sins became sort of red herring stepchild in StarDock´s portfolio - GalCiv gets constantly developed and updated, cause its historically the main title, now Ashes gets the pass, cause its a new thing, technological benchmark, spiritual successor to Total A

Nice, congrats! So no i9 then? Thought you were hellbent on high core count CPU cause of the GalCiv. Anyway, is the 8700k delidded? Are you going to try OCing it to 5 GHz and above?

There are 32inch 1440P displays, but seriously at that size, you should be looking at 4K. Apparently, BenQ 3200U is rather good all-round 4K 32inch display for relatively good price. So, has anyone seen the new Netflix show of German origin called DARK? If not, you definitely should, especially if you like shows like say Stranger Things or 12 Monkeys, or generally science fiction, mysterious, horror stuff. I cant stress enough how awesome this one is. I usually watch lot of shows, right now in the middle of Leftovers, one episode away from concluding Manhunt:Unabomber, recently finished aforementioned Stranger Things Season 2, Travelers Season 2, Mindhunter, waiti

I had a chance to play a bit on Vive last October, bit of Serious Sam and then some other stuff and it certainly has lot of potential, but the resolution is in dire need of increase before that happens. I did not realize, until i tried, what people mean by that you can see pixels - now i do and honestly, its terrible, everything looks sadly like shit, jagged, blurry... when you compare it to crystal clear image of some 32 inch 4K display you or even better 38 inch ultrawide, those are far bet

Today i got new monitor, ultrawide LG34UC98. Although i havent played Sins in quite a while, its still my fav game, so i was naturally curious, how would it look in Ultrawide format. Sadly it would not work. It acted weird already before i could set the resolution to 3440x1440, by which i mean cursor jumped weirdly around the screen and if i wanted to click one of the menu buttons, i needed to point with the mouse somewhere to the side, not at the button i wanted to click at all. The 1920x starts around AUD$1100, and the 1900x starts at around AUD$729. Now the 1900x may be a possibility, given that it is just a $100 more than the 1800x, but I'm not
