It has to be good for both to be a good solution. Explain to me how cutting back on emissions is a bad thing again? How is it bad for the economy? I never mentioned any specific metho

Whether climate change is true or not, green technology must replace fossil fuels as a main energy source. Fossil fuels cause acid rain which in turn causes numerous problems. [quote who="Moosetek13" reply="973" id="2509658"]Ya, only 10 years it would take. And I really doubt that a significant decrease in CO2 levels can be reached in that period of time to make much difference. The whole idea of Cap and Trade is stupid, considering they only want to go back to levels of a decade ago. To reverse the warming that they say we have caused over the past century would mean shutting everything down - completely. The smartest

So when making a documentary, why wouldn't he advertise the fullest extent? If you want to get their attention, you'

He feels that people like Gore are simply all for carbon capping and that's it. It isn't like that. Anyone who has listened to people like Gore know that they are looking for very broad solutions to the problem such as new technologies and the like . No one realistically thinks t
[quote who="clonmac" reply="858" id="2506265"] Sure, sure. We both agree that there are always people on both sides in it for the money. Al Gore? I don't know what to think about him. What I do know is that a lot of people don't realize that he has been at this global warming thing for a very long time long before there was any money to be made. He studied it back in college and before he was even in politics. Is he making a very nice living off of his speeches and all that?
[quote who="clonmac" reply="844" id="2505931"] Try not to get tunnel visioned into generalizations. To claim that all global warming proponents want to cap carbon emissions is just plain wrong. Actually very few want that and at the very least want a cap&trade system. But, there are a ton of solutions that have been proposed and many global warming advocates are against cap&trade even. The point is that solutions need to be looked at and debated, NOT debate over whether or not gl
[quote who="clonmac" reply="841" id="2505864"]Finally I will say this to people who are either on the fence/skeptical about global warming or are just looking and waiting for proof of its existance. Sometimes it takes putting things into a different perspective for someone to realize something. Essentially it boils down to the fact that skeptics are looking for absolute PROOF that the world is really on the brink of a climate crisis. They are looking for complete 100% concrete evid

I agree with the statement, the genre kinda hit the wall. Multiplayerwise i think they managed to lead the genre to its perfection almost ten years ago with the Quake 3, original Unreal Tournament and until today my personal favorite Medal of Honor Allied Assault. From there it was all about more or less succesful attempt to recreate the quality of those games - but for me personally, aside Call of Duty none succeeded. Even with better graphics i do not find newer games as fun as this trio. B
