Also, PREVENTING is spelled P-R-E-V-E-N-T-I-N-G, not P-E-R-V-E-N-T-I-N-G. (I'm a spelling freak)
Bah, without a built-in spell-check for these forums, it's quite easy to transpose letters. It's the goofs who cannot use proper grammar (and hence are largely incomprehensible) on these forums that are really irritating, haha.

(this would be a researchable subject similar to LR-jumps)
The closest thing to accomplishing your idea that I can come up with is this. The Vasari Starbase has a researchable upgrade to create a temporary Phase Stabilizer that allows any ships in its gravity well to
Recently in a 4v4 game, one of my allies eventually built a second fleet that comprised of nothing but tons of scouts and light carriers. After reading bits on the forums, I would guess that the scouts would function primarily as meat shields for the carriers, and I cannot surmise any other advantage for the combination. It would seem that a player paying any attention at all would simply focus-fire the carriers, ignoring the scouts. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks

If that is the case, I cannot find anywhere which version it was
Whenever you get a new version out for beta, feel free to e-mail me again. I check it quite regularly and have the time to continue testing for ya.

Place the .record file in the following place: ...\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Record-MultiPlayer Then, in-game find your "Watch" section. At the bottom of the list, there should be an option to change the "Save Type". You should then find your list for multiplayer replays. Hope that helps!
The idea to "split" your fleets is being greatly misunderstood. I only meant that you have multiple, smaller fleets moving around in the same gravity well. It allows you to maneuver all of your attack fleets with greater precision and enables you to quickly, physically split your forces off to multiple enemy gravity wells as you see fit. I have played strategy games for as long as I can remember. I have, however, been playing Sins of a Solar Empire for only a few weeks. The vanilla versions are great, but the game is taken to such a higher level with the amazing quality of mods this community has developed; my hat is off to all of you. Whenever I pick up a new strategy game, I tend to take a good while getting used to the game mechanics before experimenting with strategy. Sometimes
