bump really hoping for some help heere, I have had no luck at all.... I had to set steam to compatibility mode for civ v to work around another start up problem but changing it back has had no affect.
I am having the exact same problem, tried reinstalling and tried the verify integrity of game cache option and neither has worked... I even tried reinstalling steam to no avail. I have tried everything i know to try other than a clean install of my operating system which I am hesitant to do because one game isnt working .... I wish Sins didnt use steam I have had trouble with steam with a number of games in the past. I hope the final release isn't only a
I am getting the game is not available message onm steam as I have seen reported on this site. I have tried verifying game cache in the properties and I have tried reinstalling the game... I have even tried unistalling Steam and the game and reinstalling both. Nothing has worked so far. Any ideas ?
I have not seen boarding party work once since the 1a phase started. I have seen a couple of threads about it but it still isn't on the known issues list. AFAIK this feature appears to be broken.
It seems to me that moons should have something that distinguishes them from asteroids, other than a larger gravity well... maybe more logistics slots, or higher population caps than the smaller asteroids ... otherwise ... why even bother ?
Yeah I have noticed the same thing, I have since been ACTIVELY trying to get boarding party to work and out of maybe 100 attempts it has not worked once. I had good success with it before beta 1a.
