whenever I open the game it makes this really high whining noise and it's very annoying the game works fine but no matter what I do the noise is still there its there even if I mute the volume or turn off the speakers, any ideas?

Recently I was playing vanilla sins and I in one of my systems I had built a whole bunch of culture structures however the one planet in the system I didn't have (the pirate base) they had no effect on does culture have no effect on pirates or do you just have to wait a long time?

Does ny1 happen to know who composed the soundtrack? just curious
