I sorta agree with Ue_Carbon. plus this was to talk about entrenchment. I didn't see it developing into a full on mini expansion convo. It's cool though. i'm learning.

I'm new to the forums and don't have any karma and was wondering how i could give people karma and how one may recieve karma.

I honestly think you should be okay. Especially since it's lan it's not really over a great distance. Your all in one place playing a game. On the demo you'd exit and it would give the details and it said something about our customers are thieves. So i don't think you'll have a problem at all. If you really want to try just find 2 friends and try it with the 3 computers. If it don't work then you'll know before trying to set up some 7x7 match up with the same copy.

i thought about trying that out, but i figured since the game was only $20 at walmart they could just go get it and then we could all play. With no problems at all.

I think what i'd most like to see is like an actual campaign mode for both single and multiplayer modes. Like i would enjoy having more of a point to capture this or that instead of take this planet and this planet and YAY!!! VICTORY!!! now what? If they had a multiplayer campaign then that would be cool because you and your friend/s could be spanned across like a 40 planet or bigger solar system. So then you could each be conquering a part of the empire and take it ove

Hey i was just wondering if anyone knew of any mods that were star trek based. I would love to have one of my capital ships be the USS Enterprise. If anyone knows of a mod like that please post a link up.

I just bought it, i havent gotten to play it just yet tho. How do you get a starbase tho? Does it have to be researched first? And i may get diplomacy...maybe. i like the diplomatic approach but a.t.m it doesn't seem like there are too many enemies who want to be diplomatic either.

Cool deal. I will be getting that then in a few days. I did read up about the star base and that's exactly what i wanted for a few of the games i've played.

So i just got SOaSE the other day and am loving every bit of it. I was just wondering if i should get the Entrenchment expansion already of just play some more til i get better then go for it. I read something about starbases and have no clue what that is. They then said it was only if you had Entrenchment. So made me curious.

Haha i was thinking about getting entrenchment but i don't have the mula for it. I will definitly cut back on some of my research. I just do that so that my fleet is stronger and i can get more out of my crystal and metal factories. Thanks for the help. Oh and is any particular race better to start with than another or is it like a rock paper scissors deal?

Okay i'm not too new to rts games but for some reason i just can't seem to get enough money metal and crystal to go anywhere. I have a ton of reasearch done but i only have 2 planets and an asteroid. Every time i try to build up my fleet the pirates or the "A" people (just started and havent remebered the names yet.) Any recommended stratagies that i could use to get more resources and planets. At least enough to get a decent start? Any help is highly appre
