So i've poked around a bit and haven't been able to find an answer to this, but i'm trying to modify the tier requirements for research so that the amount of required research stations is increased. I've tried editing the number of stations per tier in the galaxy.constant file but it only leads to a ctd. Am I being obtuse, or can this not be modified?

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to disable the Z-axis, or to at least limit it so you could place phase lanes between planets without insane Z-axis diffences. Thanks in advance.
