I know I asked in the post "potentially OP" but I DO really like it. Thanks for the clarification that Malice damage propogation is calculated after shield mitigation and armour. I like this and don't think it should be nerfed.

While playing as Advent Rebel, I noticed something in particular. When a Progenitor Mothership uses Malice, and affected ships are hit by the Titan ability Chastic burst, all of a sudden 10-15 frigates / cruisers all explode at the same time. This got me thinking... Say you have 10 frigates / cruisers affected by Malice, which propogates 30% of all damage received to all other ships affected by Malice (I think). Then throw in Chastic Burst, which affects the same 10 ships, doing 1000

Nope, my entire experience of the Vasari was the assault on the Occupation planet. There is a Starbase, Vasari Rebel Titan and several smaller ships there along with several missile batteries. I have absolutely no modding experience with Sins so I'll be waiting for Beta 2 before I play another race.

I finished a play through that resulted in an occupation victory, and I have to say, I was really impressed with the new look they were giving the Vasari ships. I mean, sure, the TEC ships looked a little bit better, but man, did those Vasari and their new weapon effects look sweet. Especially like the Enforcer's new wave beams AND the new phase missile graphics. Awesome sauce. The game began with me as Loyalist. I expanded, took over a bunch of systems, basically playing pure eco

You need to check what both sides of the relationship feel in that situation by checking how your empire feels about them in the diplomacy tree.

Hi everyone, After playing a few games of Rebellion and getting sick of playing the TEC, I decided to start a game as Advent in Diplomacy. I encountered a bug having to do with the whispers you receive from the AI players. Normally, when an AI player attacks a planet, they whisper you and say, "Say goodbye to planet X" However, I had it happen several times where a Vasari ally of mine (both with every mutual pact)was giving this whisper to me when he had a large fleet

Another "Research Victory" related bug I found playing with 9 Vicious AIs. It occurred repeatedly, was not game breaking but was definitely a glitch. Periodically, an alarm klaxon would sound, and by the end of my testing period it had sounded for quite a few AI players. It shocked me at first because text appears saying "Nitheim Rebels are victorious" "Provians are victorious" with text simultaneously elsewhere on the screen indicating "Nitheim Rebels have started rese

Also, Insurgency and Truce Among Rogues interact in what I believe is an unintended faction... When opponents have researched Insurgency and you have Truce Among Rogues numerous neutral ships begin to pile up in your gravity wells. In the last game against 9 Vicious AIs I had 1 gravity well with 13 neutral Kodiaks as well as a plethora of other neutral ships, and several others with about 10 Kodiaks a piece. Suggestions: 1) Make players who research Truce Among Rogues unaffected by In

When the opponent(s) have researched Insurgency, yet you are allied with them through Truce Among Rogues, they pile up in potentially quite significant quantities. I just played a game with 9 Vicious AIs, and one of my gravity wells had 13 neutral Kodiaks, as well as 10-15 each of several other types of neutral ships. This becomes problematic because researching Insurgency in this situation is completely counter productive, as those ships become a sizeable defensive force that you do not have

I agree that the pirates and rebels showing up automatically is a problem. Numerous times the approach I've taken is to suicide them in an enemy system, which, due to the pirate abilities, is actually very useful for gaining more credits. Yet sometimes they're more effective than I mean them to be and they don't actually die. Having a toggle switch, perhaps on the main screen, to turn this on and off, would be very very helpful.

A suggestion I would have for the Vasari Loyalist "To the Core" ability is that it works on unowned planets as well as planets you own, pending balance. Otherwise, when the Vasari Loyalist fleet decided to get up and abandon planets, it would be nigh impossible to colonize planets for draining them due to hostile culture (which thematically doesn't make sense - if you're stripping a world, who cares what the locals think?) and the lack of ability for the Vasari to spread / repress cul

When an AI team begins researching victory tech, the message is listed as "X is halfway completed their victory research" even though the victory research may only be 1% finished. Also, the warning sound blares continually.
