The developers should really try to make their game more mod friendly. If I was a modder I wouldn't even try to accomplish something if I had to redo everything after a patch!

oh... okay, i guess I played to much EVE Online, where my Megathron is an ARMOR tank and my Rokh is a SHIELD tank and not other way arround or both =D So getting good armor for advent ships can also be good, because if the shields are down i doesn't get laid directly ^^ I think I got it, thx :)
Sry guys I am starting a new topic on that, I just found some old topics from 2008 and didn't want to warm 'em up. I am an Advent player and 100% on shields... I think I barely got how "Shield Mitigation" works: The more dmg is appiled on a ships shield, the more mitigation it gets, the LESS dmg is done ( a little NOT logical to me but okay...) I started with TEC and then switched to Advent. I never rly tried Vasari cause their voices sound like hell, and I don't wanna experience HELL when playing a game xD I like the advent ships, the way they look. Their BEAM weapons are imba and if you combine illus, crusader and some caps into a fleet you'll BEAM everything away ^^ Although Advent is struggling in the beginning, they can get pretty strong at the end. And their starbase is cool with all those 10 billion fighters ^
I kind of have a stupid question BUT... The Radiance Battleship got 2 plasma guns and 2 Beams in the front and several laser batteries at the sides. When I attack another target, lets say a Starbase, the Radiance always turns its front to the target and only fires with the plasmaguns and the beams. Wouldn't it be more effective to fire the lasers too, so that it turns a little to the side, that all weapons can fire? Long story short... is there a way to disable the "au
