Runs pretty good for me on laptop win7 sp1, i7m-3520m proc, 8Gram, nvidia quadro k1000m, ssd. Crash every once in a blue moon if I play for days without restarting but not much lag if any with huge fleets. Used to lag/crash on my older machines with less ram/cpu. I even leave norton running.

Thanks for answering Major, I just did the LAA trick, I will load up the game and see what happens. I'll update teh thread on what effects if any I see from LAA.

I wasnt having minidump issues until the new patch. Now I am. Anyone hear anything back yet? Does it help to make the .exe large address aware on my 32b OS? I have seen that in many minidump threads.

Runs no problems on XP. I'm working through some mini-dump issues on late stage larger games but from what I can tell this happens to everyone.

I run diplomacy just fine. I'll give it a whirl. I simply cant be bothered to upgrade windows on my game rig.

Did it work on your XP rig? I dont plan on upgrading my game rig from XP. Runs everything else on the market.
