Turned into bloatware long ago, I don't remember anyone that used it in years.
Did you add it to the bottom of the manifest and not update the count? Might be obvious, but are you doing this in a mod? or install dir?

yes, in GF the planet placement is set, but you can add more than you need and have them spawn at a chance so every time you load that map it is different. Connection chance will also change the phase lane connections. You can also edit your Map Design in notepad C:\Users\myfist0\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\MapDesigner look for homePlanetType "TerranHome" homePlanetStarRadiusRange &nb
Try the "Map Size" but not sure. Zooming out the map may look the same, but the phase lanes are actually a lot longer and will take longer to travel. The sun is in the middle and the Homeworlds are on the outer edge of the ring. Galaxy Forge is your best bet.

make a copy of another home planet entity. rename it to the borked one, tell the new entity to use the earth mesh and string id and desc. This is of course after you move the entities to the convert folder and make them text files BIN_to_TXT. If autoplace works, it may be the radius is borked. Not sure as I gave up using the custom home planets as you cant set the proper player there. BORG's homeworld as earth? and the Romulan HW on Kronos, fuck dat.
I just finished all the custom and missing icons for creating maps in SOA2. They will be in the next update. We are looking for map makers, submit to soa2 [at] hotmail [dot] ca or provid
