We had this discussion before, what has the ability duration and cooldown to do with the fact that the AI spams them? Wouldn't it be completely sufficient to fix AI behaviour to use Akkans more normally?

The TEC rebels can ally with pirates and call them in as reinforcements using the comm center. The ability being displayed for the loyalists is a good find and should be fixed. @ 1st, 2nd reply: Did you people actually play the beta or are you just here to troll?
steam is nothing but hot air!!!
Actually steam is vaporized water and not hot air. Looking at it from a thermodnynamic point of view there is a huge difference. Hot air could not be used to generate huge amounts of power like water is. After installing steam you have to register the key with steam, you can do so by opening the library an left-clicking on "add a game" in the lower leftern corner. In the dropdown menu select "activate a product

Unfortunately after-crash savegames tend to be borked, I'm not sure if autsaving upon disconnect would work for the crashed player. If you could choose the autosave-timer manually and set it to something like every 5 minutes (it's 15 right now if I remember correctly) there should be no issue in people restarting the game at the last autosave... We do that all the time, i.e. if our provider executes our 24h reconnect at the worst time possible. My rig could probably handle aut

Maybe you should go and take a visit at wikipedia to read something about processors and how they work (and maybe other things, too?). It's not really in-depth, but gives you a rough idea. You should at least know what your PC is capable of so you don't end up accidentaly frying it. It's like with cars, if you have enough knowledge about it to realize that there are no actual horses stuffed into the engine you'll have less trouble if something small is to fix :).

Steam store states the game will be available June 12th, so the beta will probably go till there... as for vasari, probably, but when I have no idea.

Well I sure hope it is. Me and my friends used steam before getting sins, so we just used steamfriends for matchmaking and hamachi to play from the beginning not worrying about ICO.

It was probably sarcasm. People need to learn that tone is a hard thing to communicate on the interwebs. Yes, for me who played Sins for more than two years it has always been stable. As I don't know just what software you are using and how it is configured I have no idea why you are experiencing this trouble. But it might also be related to your software and its configuration. While I don't play over ICO we play a lot over Hamachi or using local hosting

Haha, my notebook with an intel core i3 and a nVidia GT 320 M works the game on medium settings like a charm... well the 1GB ram kinda limits it to small to medium maps, but that's not a problem when me and my friend play LAN :p.

Currently this culture is spread from all planets, if I recall correctly it even spreads from enemy ones. This is not working as intended, of course. You do not need to push back his culture. Allied culture gives you the same benefits (Not entirley sure how it works with ship buffs, but at least planetary buffs work out the same) that your own culture gives. So you can use it while it lasts.

I've never had minidumps in the game, safe for that one time where I killed my computer by running too much shit in the background (which really was my fault to begin with). Until right before I started testing rebellion I used three year old drivers on a three year old rig and sins never crashed (I still use that rig, just updated video drivers). On large maps I just reduce planet, ship and structure detail quality and am done with it. That's also my first advise for people e

Some steam achievements are "hidden" achievements, this is also the case in other games. If you have all achievements but the hidden one it shows in the library as "19/20 achieved, +1 missing" with the +1 covering the actual picture of the achievement. Sins didn't have this before, but they probably turned space ponies into a hidden achievement since the upgrade is supposed to be so rare.

I never see my ships regaining antimatter, even when I manually cast it...
I use it regularly. It only works on ships in range (as the description of the temple of renewal implies), but it works. My

When we bought the game as preorder we agreed that we'd get an unfinshed product until the actual release date. Most people here are trying to help the developers by buying the game early and looking for critical bugs that the developers cannot spot by themselves. If you just buy games to play them pre-ordering games for a beta access is not for you, as betas will always be unfinished, often not fully playable versions.

You can influence which route a unit flys through when it is on the field, but if you set up a frigate factory to send them to a forward planet it automatically takes the shortest route no matter if you use shift while assigning it. bing able to set waypoints for afctories would be great, my ships have a habit of using pirate bases, enemy planets, dangerous neutral gravitywells and whatnot else as their regular routes. If I want them to live I'm always forced to either produce them right

They aren't defenseless to fighters or bombers. 14 strikecraft squads (20 for the advent) is anything but defenseless given you filled them at least halfway with fighters. Heck, TEC Loyalists can even have 28 if they want. I haven't found any situation yet where I thought "oh man, my starbase sure sucks balls now". Especially in my own wells a mix of defensive buildings kills any need of mine to have AA on the starbases (I usually only use strikecraft on starbases in neutral w

The TEC rebel is immune to insurgents, you are not. The only way to defend your envoy rom insurgents is you placing a starbase on his planet. The TEC rebel ability to make neurals your friends still need some fixing, but it should be known by now, others pointed it out before. The known bugs section should be updated, really.

I'm actually thankful I can move the curser out of the screen to the next one, but maybe that's just my way of using my PC. As for moving the camera, you can just stop the cursor right at the edge of the screen to move it, you do not have to "push" the picture to the left or right with the cursor. Took me some getting used to (as I only started using multiple screens recently), but it works fine for me.

Just how effective do you want to make the starbase AA defenses? If the enemy bomber swarms are so effective as to overwhelm everything else, just what kind of effect would any reasonable (as in not stupidly powerful) amount of starbase AA have? Even the Beta 1 titans folded like cardboard against sufficient numbers of strikecraft. Yes, I happen to have played against advent before, and I do know both human advent players and AI like to use drone hosts and carrier caps. This was the m

Using shift you can assign your ships to attack different ships one after another, but unless you want to seacht that flock of enemy ships manually you'll have to undo "group frigates" again, which in turn clogs the empire tree a bit. Just hold down shift then click on the hoshikos one after the other, your ships will kill them in the same order. If you want them to stop just give them another order or tell them to "stop" everything they are currently doing. To my knowledge there
