Ah indeed, it happened with Vasari Loyalists. I understand now, thanks. And about flagships, yes and no. Ofcourse the AI/opponent will constantly have it run to survive, but wow, that's so frustrating. :p

I would want ships/structures to break in different parts and crash into the planet when destroyed, instead of just exploding inside the gravity well. After all, the ship/structure IS IN THE GRAVITY WELL so it should be drawn to the planet.
I might have discovered an issue with the Capital Planet Vicotry game condition. Two times now I have experienced a game in which I destroyed an opponent's capital planet, but the player wasn't defeated. Is this a bug or is this how the game works? I think it's strange, because I already defeated two other opponents by 1) rushing their capital and 2) fighting over it. But the third opponent just continued fighting.
Thanks for that dude! I was trying to play Star Wars Requiem with this, bu doesn't work. So now playing the other great Star Wars mod, Galactic Empire. Brutal!
Thanks for the reply. What's the best source how to learn to import maps into the game?
I've found a number of topics concering Star Wars galaxy maps. Which one of these is the best (in your opinion)? I'm looking for a big one that is as complete as possible, and also features new planet types.
I just turned all settings down to Medium and that seems to resolve the issue. Too bad I can't enjoy high quality models now, but I'm very happy it runs. The music, the ships, the sounds... sooooooo good.
I'm trying to run the mod on my new laptop, but it keeps crashing after about 1 minute of playing. I have Trinity and installed the Diplomacy mod, latest version, and the hotfix, as found on the Requiem website. I get a minidump after one minute, when the game freezes. The checksum (before the hotfix, but that didn't change anything but the menu) was correct. EDIT: Just read that high graphics settings influence mod performance? So turning down graphics quality will st
Installing the beta drivers you mentioned solved the problem. Thank you very much.
Doesn't work for me... I updated the driers recommended by ASUS and I updated the drivers from the NVidia website. Still get the exact same error. It sucks I have to play in 1600x900. Any other ideas?
In the Properties menu from the NVidia drivers, it says the verion is: 8.17.12.6874. Doesn't really correspond with what you've been saying. I also just noticed my laptop ALSO includes something from the Intel HD Graphics Family. I'm currently looking at the ASUS website for drivers and at the NVidia. I'll let you know what happens.
Intel Core i7 (2630QM) 2.00 GHz processor 6GB Ram memory NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M videocard Drivers are up to date as far as I know.
Something similair happens to me. My standard resolution is 1920x1080. Whenever I try to set Sins Trinity to this setting, the game crashes and saves a minidump. I have the most recent version of Trinity and I'm running through Impulse/Gamestop. Any ideas what to do?
Is there any news on the portraits and planets appearing wrong? I really like the mod, but I don't like playing it when portraits and planets look weird.
Sounds awesome! Can't wait until it comes out.
I visit the forum daily, but haven't encountered any problems as well. I live in Europe, so perhaps I visit the forum at different moments than the moments at which people seem to have problems.
Saying that this game is too hard for you... haha! Homeworld is much harder and more complicated!
I suppose it has to be something that is build outside a gravity well. It's really enormous compared to the Kol, so I can't see how that would fit in a gravity well without ships constantly crashing into it.
[quote who="Yarlen" reply="60" id="2972811"]The AI player must also research that tech in order for you to offer such a mission. It's a limitation from the original game that we aren't able to workaround. We'll be addressing the Supply and Trade Pact issues that were reported - thanks for that. I wasn't able to reproduce the claim that constructors will attempt to deconstruct turrets. Mine made no such attempt though if they go within range of an enemy turret
Can I no longer give 'Give Resources' missions to allies/enemies? Playing as TEC, I got the tech that allows me to receive those mission types. But I can't give them, not to a 20/20 ally and not to a enemy with who I have 4.3/-0.3 relationship.
It's great to hear you are working on it. I really love this mod. I read on your website/forum all the aspects you want to change as well. Sounds fantastic. Thanks for all the hard work!
A couple of days back I posted about some issue I had. I got some great help then, but the issue stil is not resolved. Today I tried Diplomacy 1.31 with DS, I still have the same issue. I know this is being looked into, so I just want to let you know that the new release didn't change anything about that.
I'm going to try it right NOW.
Perhaps it's better if I cease trying to fix this bug I encounter, until there's a D1.3 version of this mod, right?
Okay. Tried that, doesn't change anything either! This is really frustrating. I'm here on this forum filled with people who run this mod without any problems, who have tons of knowlegde than can help me, and still my game refuses to run the mod as it should Everybody thanks for the help so far. The only other thing I can report, is that this bug also appears in the Star Wars Requiem mod. Planets etc. look as they should, but the portraits are still bugged. Take a look at my po
