That actually is a "feature" with the base game, not SoGE. That said, glad you have things working now.

There's a structure called a Supercap Factory, which is what has the ability. When you set up a game, go to the Game Options and make sure that Supercaps are Enabled.
I hope that Unfair is left untouched... It's at a really good level as it is, nerfing it would be tragic.
No, not at present.
Is there any new estimate on when these changes will be implemented, as they were supposedly going into this update?
Well, a lot of newer players were complaining that the difficulty jump from Normal to Hard was too much since normal got revised down. Especially on the steam forums.
While I can see that, I think the solution is buffing Normal and Easy rather than nerfing Hard. Plus, as Seleuceia mentioned, will we be back for this discussion later when people say the jump from Hard to Unfair is now too big?
Why was the resource/income bonus for Hard AI decreased? The Hard AI is fairly well balanced, and after how the Normal AI has been playing pitifully since it's resource/income bonus was removed, I don't see why this is a good idea, let alone the need for such a nerf. I'd argue that the Normal AI needs to have it's old bonuses restored and that the Easy AI needs to have it's resource/income penalty reduced or removed entirely. Other than that, the DLC changes/balance tweaki
In vanilla TEC Rebels have a -10 relations modifier with everyone but themselves. Any other race is better than them for diplomacy, even the Vasari Loyalists/VCC.
Vanilla Sins is very difficult to mod due to it requiring the mod have ALL of Sins' files present. Just work with Entrenchment or Diplomacy; it doesn't have this requirement.
It's either center, or the ship is placed in the actual physical center of the mesh.
Stars don't get hit by that selection. Also, look on the bright side; once you have an exception list done, you can reuse it in the future.
Yes you do. I've seen Plasma Storms hit uncolonizable wells. That being said, with RandomLocation , you can put in exceptions, i.e. all uncolonizable planets.
It's a trap!
Is that a Trade Federation Droid Bomber I see there? That error looks like it's saying you've run out of RAM.
Nope
Huh, I often test the mod on Medium-Large Fiefdoms and the AI attacks other solar systems. Maybe you need to explicitly set them to aggressive or something on the fiefdom maps, as without other players in the solar systems maybe some AI types won't care to attack.
I've found the AI isn't that great at jumping between systems, but I have seen then use wormholes decently. Ironically I've found the pirates to be bette
SoGE has made it into the top 100 for Moddb's MOTY. Thank you to all who've voted for us!
He's sure. For maps, there's two settings, metersPerGalaxyUnit and pixelsPerGalaxyUnit. The former is the actual scale of the map; increasing it increases the distance between planets. The latter is what Makon is asking about, which frankly, is something I'd like to know as well.
Did they make it last year? That's cool. Maelstrom still has new races though, and is a bit older than this one.
Yeah, it made it into the top 100. One of the few Sins mods to make it, 1 of the 2 released ones I think.
Vote for us in MOTY 2013 on our Moddb page!
If Maelstrom can make it, I don't see why E4X shouldn't. In fact, released Sins SW mods didn't even make the cut last year!
LoL its not set to the highest, anyone who plays with mods knows better then that.
Common sense isn't so common, you would be surprised. ;)
If it's set to Highest it can be the issue, your experience be damned.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again, I really wish IC didn't start work on a MOBA. It's a serious waste of time and resources to work on something, in that genre, when DOTA and LOL have such HUGE market shares. If Sins of a Dark Age was a spiritual spinoff in a fantasy/medieval theme (like Total Annihilation with the Kingdoms entry), that'd be fine, but I feel they're wasting good development time with this. I
Nabbed a 240 GB SSD for $150.
Wanted a cheap GPU I knew was going to go on sale, ended up missing it. Ah well.
