Is it really working? Question regarding functionality in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

Hi, it has been some time since my friend showed me this superb game. I was so astonished that I was willing to run to buy it immediately however then the desync bug occured and I was forced to reconsider. Now time has passed and I have found out that really annoying bug has finally been solved. I would like to ask you if the game is REALLY playable now. I dont want to waste 40$ just to find out that it is still unplayable with other gamers. Thank you Hye
