Wait seriously? Yall argue with your spouses about Sins? Why?

ah thanks for that I'll look through it! I played a quick singleplayer game, not bad! (I am not noticing the graphical improvements very much...hmph.
lol, I meant about beta testing like how do I go about discovering errors and reporting them, isn't that what it's about or is it just "play and let us know when stuff doesn't work"
I got Rebellion today! But steam is calling it a beta (which it is in beta) but I assume this will transform into the full game later? I will say, to the Rebellion team this: I have NEVER pre-ordered a game EVER, because I generally think it's stupid as all you do is part with your money early for almost no benefit. In this case, So I hope you all take that as a complement for all your hard work :-). Also, I certainly liked that I get access to the beta
I think restarting the titan's level after death makes the most sense, but it would basically make every game a "kill the other person's titan first". Perhaps they could make it so that with each level gained the amount of XP you get from killing a ship decreases. So a brand spanking new crew+titan WOULD learn a lot from even killing small weak ships. But as they kill more and more of those it just becomes second nature so they don't really gain much e
What's this about not being able to zoom in as much??
So I am highly considering pre-ordering rebellion, but I'm curious how the Rebellion graphics compare with SoSE+ mods. I'm especially thinking of this one: forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/368651 picture here: http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c21/starskies/games/Sins%20of%20a%20Solar%20Empire/BKGM_Banner.jpg I'd appreciate your thoug
Nevermind, I played the demo again. Then went "what the heck" and bought it. It's at least worth the ~$20 I spent on it. And if I really like it, it'll be worth the $10 I spent on it. [e digicons][/e] The way I see it, if the appeal of this game lasts only a short while then it was only $20, if I end up getting rebellion it will be like I spent $10 to play it till rebellion comes out. I'm still curious ab
Oh what time does this end? The email I got about this implied it ended sometime on Tuesday. But this is saying "weekend".
I was convinced that I should wait until Rebellion before forking out the cash. I also used to use a present tense in place of "was".
So you got it? Also, is the upgrade discount permanent? Or is it just if you pre-order? Is there any word on the release date for the beta? I am highly considering getting this. I've been waiting for a sale on tr
Right, thanks for the reply! Do those changes drastically change the way a game plays out? Esp. interms of pacing and overall strategy. Or does it just add some new cool features but nothing game altering. I guess my motivation for asking is finding out if it makes sense to get Trinity AND Rebillion so that I could play the different game styles (Say, more turtling with Entrenchemnt vs. more in your face full out invasions with vanilla).
That's a vaild point dirty. I don't really think I'll get that much time to play from now till late April/early june. I am in college and for all intents and purposes I have summer "off". I'm sorta leaning on waiting for some more info, screenshots, videos etc. to roll out before pre-ordering rebellion. Annatar11, I was actually thinking of just getting the original, not trinity. I've been waiting for trinity to have a sale for a while and that hasn'
Could someone point me to where I could find out what the difference/effects on gameplay of the different versions of SoSE? People seem to talk about "Entrenchment" games as being Different from "Diplomacy" and from the vanilla SoSE. Sorry for not being familiar with possible existing sources of information. I am trying to make a "purchasing decsion". I've been really impressed with this community so far just by reading the fourms (as well as
Thanks for the responses guys. I was thinking. If I can get the $10 discount for just having the original SSE. Then I could get the for $20, try it out some. Then I could get the discount for rebellion. And it would be like I paid $40 for "trinity" and just $10 more for rebellion (though I would most likely not be able to play all the features independently). I am thinking clearly here?
Well I was considering getting Trinity but I was waiting for a price drop. However this new expansion has me confused. Will it have all of the features of Trinity plus new ones? Which should I get?
