Everythign dies way to fast in this mod. scouts barely make it past 2 systems, capitals die in medium sized battles even without being focus fired. System defenses are to easily outrangedm, starbases die like capitals. did you mess with shield mitigation? btw: titans? one would think the jemmy dread be a good ttian... being the freaking honking giant that it was

I just noticed the tweet about it today..... [e digicons]8|[/e] (Feels last to know now....)
New expansion announced....
Wow! Awesome review. Just watched it.
I put a vote for Damage Report . [e digicons][/e] Report could mean anything good or bad. Damage Report would be a report of something broken in a general manner including casualties. Level 1 Diagnostics would be more of a preliminary scan showing something that is out of the norm and possibly what it is so it can progress to the repair stage
Something similar happened to me too Ezah. I had to go in and manually delete all save files and autosave files and so far haven't had a crash after that. I would suggest trying this too and if your crashes return, email them your autosave that keeps crashing.
Without giving anyway any spoilers, I have really enjoyed a few things added that pay homage to TNG storylines. Some real pleasent surprises. This is easily the best release so far.
I'm definitely enjoying it too. :P Haven't had another crash after deleting all my save/autosave files and starting a clean game. One odd behavior I've noticed is sometimes when Elite s
Well, there's always get another crash and send that log file. :)
[e digicons]8(|[/e] Daaaaammmnnn! I've done up to 2 and a half hours, 10 player, multi star, with lg fleets.... but never with victory conditions sat.
Heh, nope. I never play with those. I find those annoying. I did set the fleet level to large.
Have a crash on a newly started game. Sent you the auto save file.
And yes, Borg research needs lots of strings and buttons work. It's on the big list, but not a priority as th Borg are more meant as an OP AI you are supposed to get allies and defend against.
I've noticed how OP the Borg are... and it should be that way. Look at ST Canon and the Borg are REALLY OP! :
I haven't encountered mines yet but noticed I seem to crash on the rebellion version at about 2 hours of game play. Simply drops to desktop with no warning. 2 times in a row so far, will play again later today. All graphic settings are sat to max (highest detail), 1280x1024x60hz (full screen). System: GeForce GTX460 Processor: AMD A6-3620 (quad core) 8gb Ram Windows 7 x64 This is the only mod I'm running. &nb
Sometimes I wish life was that simple! :D
Cool and understood. Thanks Cat! :)
Cool and thanks! Watching now!
I'm new to SoA2 and old to the DS mod (granted haven't played in a while). I noticed it was said that there isn't a Rebellion version 'yet' and one is in the works (if I understood right). For me to use this mod I have to use Diplomacy, correct?
Wow! I haven't actually played SoaSE in forever, mostly because I was waiting for DS to be released for Rebellion. The game just wasn't the same without this mod. Now that I have DS downloaded I'll be able to enjoy the game once more! YAY! Glad I have Tweetz! on my desktop to have received this good news! :D Can't wait! There's a missing patch of carpet on the floor from the wondering that now can be put to rest.
Valve has already said in the past that IF steam goes down foe what ever reason, THEY WILL make all the games still available to the customers. So no worries on that front.
Unless they changed their terms of service from a few months ago... (read it back then) If they give 30 days notice they no longer are required to provide the game after that notice, even if closing their doors forever.

They caught and did experiments on the ambiguously gay dual and now they, the dual, are hunting down every last Vasari and doing really wrong things to them and won't stop until they had them all.... [e digicons]:(O[/e]
I'm having a similar problem... I can change the settings and everything but every time I quit the game and start it again, it resets EVERYTHING I sat including the video settings...
in WW2, typically in a flag ship armada where you had say a carrier and a battleship, the carrier tended to be the lead ship in the armada with the admiral aboard the carrier. Granted, when the Mighty Moe came around, the battleship DID become the flagship of the fleet during the signing of Japan's surrender, but it was also the largest and most powerful ship we had ever built at the time as well as it was second only to the Bizmark. Basically what I'm say
