Correction, I believe that there can be multiple types of "pro" Tis not a black and white thing.
Here's my penny. 1) Just because you don't agree on a game feature doesn't mean that you have the right to make personal attacks on other people. That's what gives us PC gamers a reputation as trolls. 2)The z-axis can be useful. It can also be incredibly annoying, as someone using it can turn your carefully planned defense into target practice for torpedo ships and lrm's. I'd just like to note something. There are different types, and levels of "pro." Someone who plays on a single Starcraft map and knows all the ins and outs of that map is a pro on that map. Someone who develops an effective strategy for playing on randomly created maps is a pro as well. And the person who plays solely on that one map may beat that person with the strategy for random maps. But there are more maps than that one map.
My friends and I recently bought trinity, and we have been playing a number of matches against each other. One of these friends and I buddy up frequently, and have developed a strategy that seems to be fairly effective against the rest of our friends.
