Agreed; siege frigates remain very very niche, especially for TEC and Vasari since they have superb siege options from capital ships.
Personally, I believe that Siege Frigates got nerfed into oblivion, and need to be rebuffed a little, much like the Terran Reaper in StarCraft II.

The problem with Homeworld is there are so many strike craft, when Sins only has two, and there aren't many mid range ships that can fill Sins cruiser roles.

That is one problem with Homeworld in general, not as many ships and ship roles as Sins, which makes them difficult to add to Sins. Well, I would recommend the following: Strike Craft Interceptor and Assault Craft = Fighter Bomber = Bomber Gunship and Missile Corvette = Corvette Pulsar Gunship and Laser Corvette = Heavy Corvette Frigates Scout = Scout Frigate (for lack of a better choice) Torpedo Frigate and Plasma Lance

I don't particularly like EA, their DRM and business practices are questionable, and they destroy good studios with their taint. Maxis (never much cared for games like The Sims and Spore, but come on), Westwood Studios (CnC Generals managed to avoid the taint, but BfME series could have been so much better), and Pandemic Studios (its as simple as the Star Wars: Battlefront series was great, but LotR Conquest was just awful with the same engine) got dismantled for their IP, which was turne

What i mean by that is if Voyager itself didnt miraculously repair itself to pristine fresh out of spacedock condition after each battle with no logistcal support for spare parts. Yet it always seemed to have a surplus of spare parts.. even a spare warp core :/. Are they sure they didnt put Borg regener
The Delta Flyer? An omni-purpose nigh invulnerable craft built from "scrap" in the hangar of a light cruiser lost in space. It would be great cause it can take on the Borg Collective all by itself (can you feel the sarcasm here). Seriously, I do like the design. The problem is where to put it, and what purpose would it serve? Its too big to be a fighter, and we already have the Danube as a Starbase, and Hangar defense only heavy fighter.[/qu

I used to watch TOS during the Thanksgiving Day marathon every year back in the 90's, and I couldn't really get into TRS, because of all of the switching around things and the "gritty at each others throats" drama. That was also what turned me off about SGU, with its same brand of drama just with more planets, that didn't really feel like SG1 and SGA. The fact that SGU killed the new SG1 and SGA movies with its cancellation sure hasn't helped its reputation with me eit

Diplomacy ICO games often play like Entrenchment ones with a research requirement for feed from what I have heard the ICO veterans say and from what I have experienced.
And of course, I don't have a GTX 580, all I got is ancient stuff like a GeForce 4200 Ti and a GeForce 6200, much less sufficient RAM, about the only thing that is acceptable is the processor. I guess I really need to build a new computer of my own if I ever want a play a new video game ever again.
They've done a good 10 or so scenario maps with each expansion though. So they're just continuing the trend with Rebellion.
Actually, to my knowledge, Ironclad only added 7 maps in Diplomacy and no additional maps in Entrenchment; I ought to know, I added articles for all of the maps on the Sins Wiki, after having wrote down all of the descriptions, and comparing the map lists in the three.
