Tiberius is right. Allow me to explain further. If you have a combat unit in one system, and a fleet in another, you can select the combat unit, right click on the fleet, and the combat unit will phase jump to the fleet's current gravity well. It will then auto-join the fleet if it has auto-join fleet behavior enabled. If the combat unit is in the same system as the fleet and you do the same as before, the combat unit will instead move to the flagship. It will follow the flag

I am curious as to what exactly this device is capable of. I heard you can give it commands and such. I just want to know what commands you can give it and what they do, and how to activate them in-game. Plain and simple, no?
Crap like this always happens on April Fools day. Anyone ever heard of what Filefront went through this date a few years ago?
We need more stuff in the Downloads area. Anyone agree with me? Maybe I should release some of my beginner-friendly mods...
/hijack Does anyone have a list of all the emoticons on this site? Like the picture of it, then the sequence? Curiosity killed the cat. Or in my case, Gatekeeper.
I think this is the one you are after. After what I post, it's a bunch of missing label stuff that I can't do anything about. Something to do with textures. > Requiem Diplomacy Found 0 Enabled Mods in C:\Users\Dawkins\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods-Diplomacy v1.2\EnabledMods.txt *** TextureSystem could not find file (Buttons_Research2_Disabled) within TextureSystem's working directory (Textures). *** TextureSystem could not find
Let me sum this up as best as I can, using the large fleet vs fleet scenario: Vasari: Stilakus Subverter: Around 10 or so of these. Keep them close to the front lines, spread out from each other. Micro them to get close to the packs of enemy ships and let them do their jobs. Overseer: 2 to 3 at most. Make sure it is the ship you have least of. Keep them close to your most critical ships and when said ships get critically damaged, micro time. Advent: Gua
I get these messages when I enable it in the dev: Assert @ c:\Projects\P4\SinsDiplomacy\Release\CodeSource\Engine/Archive/TextFileArchive.cpp(183) *stringSrc == _T('"') Assert @ c:\Projects\P4\SinsDiplomacy\Release\CodeSource\GS/Entity/Interfaces/IAbility.cpp(297) NeedsSingleTarget() Assert @ c:\Projects\P4\SinsDiplomacy\Release\CodeSource\GS/Entity/Interfaces/IBuff.cpp(2344) (instantAction.instantActionTriggerType == InstantActionTrigge
I do have Diplomacy 1.2, and I just redownloaded the full version and the same thing happened.
No, I mean when I try to apply changes after enabling it, Minidump. I checked the thread, downloaded the full version, same thing.
Every time I try to convert something, it give me a debug error. It is extremely frustrating, and I am royally pissed off at it. I'd like to know how to make it work like it did the first time I used it! EDIT: Nevermind, I just use the 1.2 version now.
What do I do if the checksum does not match? And what is that?
That reminds me of the time just last week, I was playing FFA 3 player VS 1 Vasari and 1 Advent on my custom map, on one of my outer worlds, the Vasari show up with 4 Skirantra Carriers. Two were level 4, and I think 1 was level 9. Basically they took all their fleets and mashed them up and threw them at me. That fleet took over 4 of my planets before I cut them off with my main assault fleet.
And giving the Pirates missions...
harpo, I hereby dub you a modding GOD. Thanks again!
In my case it happens when no abilities are used. When it shouldn't happen. Not sure about the poster's. Didn't specifiy.
You're right about everything. However, to keep it alive, deploy it as support to other capital ships, like the Skirantra, with Nano Hull Repair. Once it goes down, though, you're in trouble.
Problem is, it's not predictable. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Only thing I know is it happens with 10+ Kodiaks.
Damn !
Every time I've used it, it's done wonders for me, unmodded. Love those abilities. Has to be high level though. That's why you send it tanking through militia and light fleets. lol. "Egg." Now I get it. It does sort of look like an egg.
Thanks harpo! I would use the GUI, but it's just too complicated for me. I've downloaded and tried it before, but I could not for the life of me figure the sucker out. Frustrating...
I'd like to see a starbase with Phase Jump capability. ... Can that be modded into the current game, somehow? Apart from that I'd like to see a superweapon. A real superweapon. Not just an oversized capital ship with 30% more firepower. No, I'm talking like an equivalent to a Super Star Destroyer. Wouldn't that be nice to see along with the Titan? With a build limit per player of course, for all those infinite supply buffs out there...
The same thing happens to me and has happened ever since I bought the original game. The thing that enfuriates me the most is that I've never got an official answer. Just denial that the problem exists. See this, everyone? I told you it exists! /rant
What is the "Egg?" I'm not good with terms for the game...
Forgot to add: ALWAYS watch your back. Defend the planets closest to the enemy fiercely. Don't let the enemy outflank you.
