just to add if someone can just run me through the steps from start to finish to add a object icon to your desktop with out having to use a DescktopX theme ( so i can keep my dreamscape wallpaper and other stuff) thats all i need to know. Just pretend you have dreamscape and windows 7 and you just downloaded desktopX how would you get an email icon to stay on ur screen after you log out and back on? I think the problem is that im not running a theme from desktopX. But

yes i notice when i check run on start up the box wont stay checked.

I open DesktopX and then load object >> i load email icon object and it goes on my desktop over my dreamscape and looks good >> i tie email object to go to iexplorer and then gmail so when clicked it goes straight to my email. and now i am happy &nbsp
