Anyone can register a channel on our IRC server, so yes... clans are welcome to form their own channels.

What browser (and version) are you running? Can you give me a screenshot of the forum page you're trying to post from? Have you tried logging out, clearing cookies/cache, and logging back in?
you *will* have to buy stardock to play in the open beta and to get the preorder. right? As per Brad's post above, you will have to have pre-ordered Sins to get into the test. This is how we've handled beta tests in the past and it tends to work out really well and avoids the people just looking to get a free game while the beta runs.</P
