I've seen the graphic artifact near a black hole that jwagne51 posted at the end of reply 4465. It looks like a rectangular section of the planet icon sheet - there's a white star, ice field and part of the radiation cloud. If you pan the camera around the black hole it appears to move in the same way that lens-effects do around normal stars - could be

Agreed, those of mine that could be imported are #113, Planet names #157, Centauri Mass Driver effect #161, Tinashi clone ability I'll upload a new GalaxyScenarioDef for #139 (as that's out-of-date wrt Rebellion 1.80) so that can be imported too.

[e digicons][/e] I don't think there many are other fragments of SotYR's music that lend themselves to such short event sounds. Some of the standard Sins announcement themes may work - Vasari's for the Narns, Advent's for the Vorlons for example. The TEC one works equally well for EA or Centauri, just a
Some of the recent changes Rebellion's to planet bonuses and artifacts are interesting. Efficient Ship Factories: -30% ship cost - can make a huge saving on the more powerful cap ships Fortress World: +1 starbases, etc - a pair of upgraded Minbari starbases + Kanets == "they shall not pass" Planetary Organic AI: Now has +25% population. That combined with the new infrastructure upgrades can support massive populations. Power Core Relic: Now has +0.1 AM/sec

The beta is available purely to allow the Sins community to, at their own choice, test & provide feedback on new developments. At most they would require tier 1 or 2 techs. It would be nice if the Centauri ships h
Very minor UI glitch in Single Player -> New Game -> Large Maps The normal version of the Battlelines map as the 'C' (for Competitive) in the top LHS corner of the map's icon.
That just sounds like LAA (Large Address Aware) which has been discussed numerous times over the years. This is just linker flag (/LARGEADDRESSAWARE option) which would normally be set when an executable is compiled. The devs said that turning on the LAA flag may introduce instability, hence why it isn't used:- see https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/407088/page/2/#3187149 The experience from forum members with LAA seems to be mixed - some get it to work fine, while others

IIRC Trinity was patched to be Windows 8 compatible, so the old version of Trinity on a disk probably won't have that fix. FWIW I downloaded & installed Trinity from https://store.stardock.com and had no problems installing on Windows 8.
SoGE usually comes bundled in the RAR archive format, so you'll need to extract the archive using a utility like unrar - I would imagine there's Mac versions available. As Goa hinted, at Sins itself won't know how to load what ever archive format (RAR, ZIP, 7z ...) has been used to package up a mod.
I'm not sure about wineskin on Macs but Wine on Linux keeps the Windows file-systems in $HOME/.wine/drive_X where X is the Windows-style drive letter and $HOME is your home directory, usually /home/ . So, taking an example user-name of "fred", I would take a guess at the mod directory being /home/fred/.wine/drive_c/Users/fred/My Documents/My Games/Ironclad Games/Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion/Mods-Rebellion v1.52 <

Could the install program for Sins detect this config and select the most appropriate video card? May prevent similar issues cropping up after the next update.
