http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GPH6T78U Tadaaaaaa, here's the download link for the textures I already have, it's been a long wait but I've been busy at work and Battlefield 3 has been consuming alot of my free time. You can use this in your mod however you want, just give proper credits! :) Also, if people have requests, shoot, I will be happy to try and make the

Granted it had a toxic and rocky planet, put considering most planets are quite desolate I think it could use more worlds like that or Mars.
I was working on some rock planet textures, all greyish, blueish, and I was attempting to make some various desert textures but that'll be for later this week. <
Ice rock planet looks awesome. What you're missing from the terran planet in my opinion is the polar caps (maybe, maybe not), the dryer vegetation around the equator, high elevations (I think I see a few individual mountains, but no full on mountain ranges, snow capped peaks), and deserts. The current terran planets have a wide variety of environments that are represented, its possible it looks off because this one doesn't.&nbs

Okay I got my new system up and running and I'm ready to do some more textures. While taking backups (pretty retarded but hey..) I forgot to copy the Ice, Rocky planet texture, but I've made a new one and in my opinion it looks better! Also, for the sake of not losing textures anymore (ooooh boy..) I've made a copy to my other computer AND my laptop! Anyway, here's 2 shots of the new Ice-Rock texture, and I'll be soon releasing some in a .zip file:
EDIT (10/30/2011): I've lost all my previous work due to computer failure and I didn't have much time to complete any other textures but I've made some new ones in the meanwhile (2 Gas Giant Textures) and also some kind of icy rock planet. Currently working on some other textures, actually editing existing ones to make them look better ingame. I don't know if I need permission to edit them, if so can someone point me out to the person I need to ask
I thought of that, but I am running three different anti-virual programs and zip. This is the only file/mod that when I extract into it's folder mirrors the file but has a zero size value. Has anyone ever come across this problem before?
This may sound stupid, but did you hit "Open" or "Save as.." ? you should try save as if you didn't because the open option
The Multiple Stars Graphics Mod does not currently support the Stars mod at this time. It's simply a matter of time on my part as I have not dug into the mod files. What harpo99999 describe should work as that is a very similar method to what I used. AxelDude, if I gave you full permission for your Stars Spiral Fix, could I post that in my Multiple Stars Graphics Mod thread just so it is centralized?

It worked on the older version of Stars (think 2.3), but I can't seem to find the spiral textures lol Hi, Man! I suppose, You could simply modify "SkyBoxProperties" file, by removing these lines: numFarStarIconCloudTextureNames 3 textureName "Stars_SKY_Lavender_Spiral_1" - (by the way, the na

PLEASE VISIT MY NEW THREAD Hey guys, So I've been getting into making planet textures for sins (on the normal planet model, not the optimized one). Since I don't know alot about modding, like adding them on new planets, changing atmosphere color, etc.. I'll leave them here for anyone who likes them. I'll be uploading some more
