Rock and a hard place. Titans upon death must be a significant loss to prevent titan spam, while at the same time must be brought back as powerful in order to combat opposing titans to prevent games being automatically lost due a weaker titan not being able to stop the inexorable advance of a high level titan . In this thread there have been several excellent ideas to help deal with titans keeping their exp after death, which I think are much better work around
