Sure, there'll still be people who want to see it in a different manor than it is presented, but if they set it up so that it actively pulls the data from the game, you would always have a chart onhand. Since Sins is so very technical, providing a clear description of the technical details would be a boon to those wanting to progress in the game.
Agreed.

Its never clear until its too late and u have built light frigates to go up against long range units instead of fighters, scouts and flak because tho

What I'm talking about is when you *attempt* to make a reply with multiple quotes of different parts of someone's post, like Stant123's post did, but the forum software sometimes messes it up and turns it into one huge nested quote tree, which is clearly not what one wants. EDIT: It just happened to me on another thread. I'm not going to fix it so you can see what I'm talking about: <a href="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/410862/page/

As most players know, the empire tree is supposed to make ship organization and giving commands easier. However, especially in larger battles, ships are either dying, leaving, or entering the battle so quickly that reliably selecting a ship and giving it a command from the empire tree can be very difficult, if not impossible, because the ships displayed jump around so much. Short of a serious redesign of the whole thing, I have an idea which might go a long way towards making the empire tree

If you haven't had any network connectivity issues with anything other than this particular Sins download, I only see two possibilities: * something deeply embedded on your computer really doesn't like Impulse downloads and slows them to a crawl (unlikely, since you said all other programs were closed - did you verify this through taskmanager?) * Your router if you have one or ISP is repressing Impulse downloads but allows most other network requests to be uninhibited<

That would work well... if the repair platforms are close to the SB. It's also probably quite efficient if you're taking down enemy trade ports clumped together, but if you're on to targeting them, the "efficiency" probably doesn't matter all that much.
Quoting Eventar, reply 134Armament Pact: Requires relationship of 19.0. Now grants +1 targets per bank for all capital ships and starbases. Can someone explain it what it really does? Lets say a capital ship is fighting an enemy directly ahead using a weapon with 10 DPS. With that pact, if there was a second enemy directly ahead, the capitalship would attack both targets dealing the full 10 DPS to both of them. Thus it
I thought TEC's torpedo cruisers cost less and are more efficient at killing starbases. Isn't the Adjudicator's "average damage" rating spread over like 5 targets? If there's only a single target like a starbase, it's not going to be that effective, unfortunately. From wha

The download speed is a network issue - if you've been trying for a while and can't get a decent download speed, the problem is almost certainly with your network connection or ISP, and not with Impulse's servers. Is your other PC using the same network? If so, there might be something installed on the first PC that's blocking fast downloads (or is hogging all the bandwidth, but that seems unlikely). You could try exiting all unnecessary programs other than Impuls

If I remember correctly, the harder AIs are able to research things even while their research stations are still being built and get free capital ship experience. They also get an income multiplier on credits and resources. I think the figures were 0.5x - easy 1x - normal 1.5x - hard 2x - unfair 4x - cruel 6x - vicious But their actual ships have the same amount of hull/armor/weapons that they've researched upgrades for: they do

Interesting how it's least effective on the Advent due to their number of strikecraft per squad, contrary to the Vasari's general effectiveness. Wonder if that was intentional or just easiest for the developers to code.

Titans should take significantly more time to research/build than superweapons IMO because a Titan sounds like it would virtually end the game if it's successfully completed.

Make sure that you don't have any browser windows open in the background, especially Chrome. For some reason Chrome makes even the menu quite laggy. The game generates a detailed 3d galaxy just for the menu. If I were you I'd disable the 3d rendering for the menu to improve performance. What worries me most about DLC is that it can uneven the playing field in multiplayer. Those who buy a game in 2010 should always be able to keep playing the game with others without the others gaining an in-game upgrade via DLC in 2011 or 2012. But other than that particular circumstance, I have no problem with DLC. If it costs too much and doesn't deliver enough, then (hopefully) the smarter gamers will refuse to buy it, and the less smart will get what they deserve. But the dev
