You have to know all the races ships and what they do. For the Vasari kill the assailant and carrier cruisers firsts. dont attack the capital ships cos those 2 type of ships will tare your fleet to pieces with phase missiles that bypass shields. Once u kill em u can win. [e digicons]XD[/e] Dont forget to have the rapair cruiser: Hoshiko cos it uses drones to repair other ships and u can upgrade it to have demolition bots to attack enemy ships. Remember know your ship
Ogrov good, seekers good, starfish over-priced. Only thing in the game worth hating is phase missiles..and we cant nerf it. [e digicons]:hrmph:[/e] The ogrov is as innocent as the advent scout and to be picking on both is a shameful and cowardly act. Advent r already weak to some extent so nerfing them in anyway is selfish. The Ogrov is just they way it should be and any act of saying its tough is your fault for letting your opponent buff up there armor
I would like this not to be the case. The whole "expensive and strong vs. cheap and many" is a very generic and over used balancing tool. I want something more unique.
I don't think at this point its going to matter because this balancing will have to take place in some form or manner. I think i wasn't clear enough in my explanation so i'll break it down to u. This is the balancing so far: <span st
PRICE DETERMINES THE VICTOR There is a possibility the new variations of races will feature e.g Vasari with powerful expensive ships (original:royalists) and Vasari with weaker and cheaper ships (rebels). This pattern will play out for all the other races. If this is the case i hope to see vasari expensive vs advent expensive vice ver... I would imagine adven
the rebels are new races with new ships, technology and look. Its gonna be fun cos thats double the amount of races to choose from. It will present more variety in a 5v5 multi-player game.

So let me get this straight -- illums where firing 18 dmg from all directions and if concentrated on 1 target 54dmg? someone explain. I bought the game post bug fix
Sins of a solar empire is a much bigger game than supreme commander 2 and starcraft2 but it isn't as advertised as scrft2 because it aint got expensive cg trailers/videos depicting a story etc. If it went down that route we would see a bigger budget for the game which they are avoiding but could increase peoples awareness to a much appreciated gaming universe sins offers. More multi-players would rise to the occasion. <is it too early to ask f
Personally i think when they gave Vasari bombers phase missiles that killed the balance
Here is what you do against vasari as advent. First, start with progen cap. Level 1 is colinize, 2, 3 and 5 is shield restore, that is your mobile fleet healing, and better than repair cloud for fleets.
Doesn't help my phase missile situation (as some of u have already predicted i would say).. but a fare defense vs other forms of weapons on the vasari flak and caps. Wasted ability to some exten
I like Vasari and Advent but advent gets it rough. Anyone else think Vasari Vs Advent is an unfair fight for the Advent? I have only played single player and figured this out so im guessing online its all Vasari and Tec players as the majority? A Vasari fleet of carriers with bombers, LRM-assassins:as i like to call them, flak frigates and 1 or 2 carrier caps surrounded by overseers is game over. This is a whole in 1 phase missle fl
