Against a strategy where my opponent is spamming LRFs-in early games, I tend to use a reasonable amount of LRFs, mixed in with support cruisers (that can heal/disable- depending on faction), flak frigates and maybe a carrier capital ship. Later on (if my opponent continues to spam LRFs), I would mix in heavy cruisers, and possibly build more carrier capital ships without neglecting my own armada of LRFs. A mixed navy usually proves superior to one that spasm a particular unit(s), likewise the
Empire is what I meant ^^. Actually I stand corrected. It is definitely working. You can see the shrapnel + smoke too. p.s. for those experiencing crashes. I assigned affinity for Sins to CPU1, while everything else is using
Will check when I get home, but pretty certain it was early game. fyi not the shrapnel when a ship explodes, but the metal flying off with hits that is missing.
Its missing :(. This is Republic capital ship just prior to exploding. I've always used trinity; I've used Requiem with 1.21 and the capital ship by now wou
Ok.. reducing graphic details to high kinda sucks. but: thanks for support and ill try out.
Its to do with RAM. From memory the game was coded to only recognise 2GB of RAM (or so). As back when the game was developed anything over 2GB RAM was considered "God" like. Once you hit this 2 gig limit the game starts to crash. My old RIG is a AMD 5000+ dual core,&n
I don't care for videos as sources, I prefer text. Most importantly, you listed a bunch of executives but you noted nothing about ownership stakes in the given corporations, and you appeared to duck the question about outfits like News Corp, Bertelsmann AG, and Vivendi with "and the list goes on..."
Firstly, the video points to textual sources and is a good start/refe
I really enjoyed "Space Above and Beyond". Only lasted 24 episodes (originally planned for 5 seasons). The show had a good atmosphere, great story, and lots of potential. When the Jew controls the American film business the quality doesn't really matter, what matters is the quantity of coin coming in. *sigh*

Wow, a thoughtful response promptly ruined by re-tread racist raving. Do some reading--the
The United Nations (currently 192 member states), is also moving slowly towards internet access declared a universal human right.

Oh, jolly good of them, too. That will cure the world's ills in one fell swoop. Now if they could just tackle the minor issues of famine and health...child abuse and terrorism...
<span style="font-size: x-sma
In France and Greece, individuals have a legal right to internet access. Earlier this year it has been enshrined as a human right in Finland and Estonia. Such laws mean that file-sharers cannot be disconnected per a “strikes” regime that copyright holders have been promoting around the globe. The United Nations (currently 192 member states), is also moving slowly towards internet access declared a universal human right. See you
I don't mind paying for DLC; as long as the price to content is fair. I payed for all the Sins content, as well as most of the other games I currently play. Its only the rare but extreme examples where I have been forced to amputate part of my upper limb; using a cutlass, and replace it with a steel hook, gouge out one of my eyes using a dirk; forcing me to wear a black eye-patch, and fetch the parrot out of its cage. <em

This looks like a nice improvement to diplomacy. In my current games I just haven't bother with diplomacy very much, besides I find my navy does a much better job conducting its own form of diplomacy (aka genocide). Always found the diplomacy aspect somewhat lackluster.
After all these years the RIAA and MPAA are still pursuing that failed scaremongering campaign of theirs. Good luck to them. [e digicons][/e]
Thinking about buying the Trinity pack... just wondering how active is the multiplayer? Is it easy to find players in the lobby or not?
Most players (probably 99%) play single player. Ironclad Online (ICO) is pretty much dead. Most days/hours there are 0 games. If you do manage to get in a game you'll most likely get booted
My ICO account name is Cephal btw.
Don't know if I am doing it right but when I try adding players i get message "Players name already taken", DUH! [e digicons]:wc:[/e] <span style="font-family: comic sans ms
Thanks for the info GoaFan, p.s. your Star Wars mod is amazing. One thing I always hated is the vanilla ship designs/appearances, this mod completely changes this aspect of the game with those great new ship designs. The special effects mods included are fantastic. Among the bright space l
ICO ? couldn't get a game on yet. Firstly, there doesn't seem too be many games on. Secondly, the 3 games I did manage to join I got kicked for being a newb. Besides, between r/l, Medieval Total War II, and, Neverwinter Nights 1, Trinity has been neglected somewhat. Although, I have managed to play around with forgetools and I must say I like the feature very much. Well I might play around
I've got trinity a few months ago and starting to get somewhat bored. Currently as Vasari an Assailant spam in combination with Overseers, Sentinels and Subverter "lockdown" ability with a focus on phase missile technology with 1-2 capital ships rickrolls the AI pretty quickly (even using relatively small navy with such setup can quite easily defend choke points until a larger navy is build). <span style="font-family: comic sans m
