Curious how the top games list works. You hover over the game names and you'll see that SoaSE has more votes than all of them except for Half Life 2. This ain't rating of 1-10 since we only have 85 of those with us listed with 104. Is it total votes for mods within that game?

Truce Among Rogues + Open Rebellion tends to just give you like a super defense fleet in the form of militia. Sure you'll have to colonize again but in the end you get a buffed up defense fleet for free funnily enough. Shouldn't this be changed?

I'm sceptic about that because I've heard the "PC gaming is dead" routine since the first Playstation came out. And I have not seen a single year that didn't have some good games appear. True, there may be an influx of developers but most of them seem to be the casual-gaming kind and usually don't last that long. We've even had some

See this is what competition does for the industry. It is required or else we have Nvidia running around with absurd pricing on GPUs. I am still going to buy an AMD card just to help it against Nvidia if anything else.

Don't hate on steam because you can't give away copies of your games to other people
That's actually false. No where in US copyright law does it state that I am not allowed to hand my copy of a game to a family member or friend as long as it doesn't involve creating a duplicate of

I think the better question would be if SoaSE 2 is out by the time something like Linux/SteamBox OS becomes a standard gaming OS rather than retooling Rebellion for it.

TEC Rebels if you give them room to do this hyper-expansion with TAR, I can see it becoming pretty ridiculous coupled with TEC early rush advantages you can turn the Advent inside out before they can get the ball rolling. I wouldn't call it OP though.
Given the fact that SOASE only utilizes two cores, you basically don't need more than a dual core pc with a decent video card (of course equipped with the latest driver updates). The thing is, you want each core to have as much processing power as possible for the best experience. For instance, a dual core pc @3.0Ghz would result in a better experience than a quad core pc @2.8Ghz... Hope that helps a little bi

Did you even enable them? Since that is the Rebellion version.

If they feel the need to ask/observe mainstream fans they will have to take responsibility for the risk of negative feedback. I'm sure with the sad state of work culture across the US many people understand that constant criticism wears
wait a minute does Sins have turrets that can rotate on an axis? I just realized half the ships I want work with rotatable turrets. Bit of a shame if the game doesn't support it, as that means when I do learn how to model effectively, I'll have to point the turrets in whatever direction I want the ship to fire from.
Sins doesn't support turret animations.
