T-man is desperately trying to save his thread from the pit of despair that was page two of the forums. This relates to the OP because, well, I guess ten more people will see it before it drops off into the abyss. It doesn't, really.
Holographic, full

Whoa! There are Corsevs in the first one now! And missiles! Edit: Wait, never mind. Checked the older forum post and there are missiles and Corsevs too. Must have missed them. Still, they look awesome.

Calm down guys... I have been following this thread since it was made and I am astounded that it has gone on this long. 3 pages and 73 replies? About the fine details of how illuminators are better than Kanraks and LRMs? Even if we look at it from Seleuceia's point of view, it is still a teeny tiny balancing issue. If we look at it from RiddleKing's point of view, there is no problem and the illuminators are fine as is. [quote who="Seleuceia" reply="73"

I agree. I think that Sins 2 does not need to add any new ships, but a thorough redesign of most or even all of them is to be expected in a sequel. However, existing designs should be changed only if the newer design would be better. No need to change something good into something ugly simply so that it is different from its previous incarnation. I do hope that Sins 2 will have all of the ships of the original Sins, or if not all of the types then the rest could be added in expansions

Are you just beginning to play this game, Silver? What I would recommend to you in that case is to start off playing single player with Easy AI and then go to Normal and keep playing single player until you can beat a Hard AI. Then you may head into the realm of Sins multiplayer. From what I hear it is pretty rough for beginners and it is much easier to start Sins with the single player and become skilled at that and then head on to multiplayer. I am not really a multiplayer person, n

The collectors edition is just an upgrade for the goodies, it doesn't include a game registration, even though it comes with a disc.
Oh yeah. Sorry for not mentioning that.

Let me tell you the way of things. As Goa said, Rebellion is $30 if you have registered your Sins original and you buy from this site. If you lost the copy and the manual with the code on the back, well then I guess you will just have to shell out another $10. Rebellion is a stand-alone expansion, which means that it does not need any of the other expansions or the original game to run. Actually, it includes all of the content from the original game and the two mic

Welcome, new padawan. I am Ibnpatuta. P.S. Dune! I've played Emperor: Battle for Dune and found it a very fast and brutal strategy game. It was completely different from Sins, but still fun. Is Dune 2 like Emperor?

Wait, XATHOS, where did you hear that Sins 2 was in early development? This is great news, but I wasn't expecting them to finish Sins 1 and then jump straight on to Sins 2 without at least a year or two of break for other games (Sins of a Dark Age, Galactic Civilizations III).

Thanks for the pictures harpo. Your gaming setup looks pretty hardcore. One question: does that retail version require Steam? If it does, why would they make a retail version for Australia and New Zealand? Is Steam the "sublimated" you speak of?

Yeah, more neutral factions for Sins 2. And to have them have at least one unique ship would be awesome. What would be even more awesome is if when you captured their planet you could build that ship at the planet or at a very hard to kill shipyard in orbit. I love single player too.
