Exciting news! [e digicons]^_^[/e]

Including extra planet types fits entirely with the theme of this mod - it would seem weird them being an optional extra, even. I say just chuck 'em in!
If you're referring to a mind-machine interface where the machine does all the work, I think something like that is not only possible but oddly close to being actualized (relatively close- I doubt I'll live to see it happen).
You mean, like necomimi? [e digicons][/e]
Conversely, I've got a bad feeling about this.
I present... necomimi! http://neurowear.com/

A lot of stuff has come up IRL since I made that video, so progress has been slow. And I haven't exactly drawn a line at "okay, this is all the stuff the next version will contain", as I'm still messing around with artifact powered special abilities.
Roger roger.
So much rage.

What exactly would these do? Sadly I don't think I can set it up so you shoot black holes of doom to destroy all of your opponents ships. Are there any artifacts which give you a global phase dampening effect, such that all enemy ships take longer to leave your planets? If not, a "Black Hole Generator" or "Gravity Distortion Emitter" could be pretty useful to stumble across! Picture-wise, there's plenty out there but it's always tricky to know quite where one stands with intellectual property! [e digicons];)[/e]
I'd second that.
I'd like to take a moment out to applaud the Sins community for managing to provide constructive, well thought out and helpful information even in the face of such intense rage. It really is remarkable! And trust me, as someone who's yet to play either mod but has both sitting in my mod list waiting for me to try them out, this thread genuinely has been very helpful. Cheers!
To coin a modern idiom, "Obvious troll is obvious."
Personally I think improving the AI at advanced levels is a goal well worth pursuing!
I never have any trouble getting a cease fire. Research as many diplomatic bonuses as you can. Then of the AIs involved in your FFA, choose one which is the same race as you and carry out all of their missions as soon as they crop up. Reject any missions which would have you attack that AI; keep your border with them to a minimum and refrain from attacking them wherever possible. It shouldn't be too long before they offer you a cease fire. I'm not sure what impact culture/prop
So, anyone able to tell me whether the new Diplomacy system is worth the time or does it still fall short of making diplomacy at least worthy of pursuing?
I regularly pursue a diplomatic line with at least one or two AIs and although I believe your mod has made doing so slightly more cohesive, I would concur that in order for a diplomatic victory to be worthwhile over a military one in most cases, you could stand to
You have to subscribe, yes. That's how they can afford to continue to make content without charging you extra. Although of course WoW charges you for much of that too!
I know what I'm doing Sunday!
I remain excited about this, to say the least.
Just google "Baen free library" - can't miss it. Now, back on topic...
It may not look all that much like lightning... but it does look awesome . That's gotta count for something, right? [e digicons]:)[/e]
Assuming all goes to plan, what's your ball park ETA for getting the embassies in there? (I've been lurking for a while but I had to pipe up here - your mod's quickly becoming my favourite of all of 'em!)
