the vasari rebel titan (Kolturask) has its 'center' on the little node on its tail, this means that when it turns/pivots around thats the place that stays still. This looks very strange as most of the [weight of the] titan is infront of it and swings sideways to face the target. I think it should be closer to the front, maybe where the tail attaches? Its kind of jarring atm, it breaks my immersion. Other than that I'm a big fan of vasari sofar, well done! [e digicons

Vasari! awesome!! [e digicons][/e] just more duration on unyielding will? Still not gonna use it [e digicons]>_>[/e] Its annoying because I really like advent rebels and their titan looks awesome, but it doesnt fit my playstyle at all..
I didnt really get caught in the hype, rebellion is pretty much what I expected it to be; titans and subfactions. fuck yea titans and subfactions. And compared to other games with subfactions this isnt such a bad deal, unique titans and game altering researches is pretty hefty for just a subfaction. I'd like to say this again SUBFACTION I dont recall stardock calling them factions, only subfactions. Its not their fault you cant tell the diffrence >:( . Angry fa
Bump for a great idea
I'm pretty sure that giving it a chance to stay alive no matter how it works would really help with the usability of the skill. I dont even use the ult in my current builds for it. spending 2 more points in any other skill/stat makes it tougher or deal more damage permanently, which is alot more usable most of the time. Like I said, its an 'expect to fail' skill, and aslong as you dont get your fleet destroyed and dont play reckless it should never have to activate. I guess it giv
it could be that the vasari titans havent been nerfed down like the advent/tec ones. did they still have custom damage increase passive %s?
as far as I know the damage hits when the ring lights up yellow/orange, then the beam zzzzzaps. if the target dies because of the skill it stops the animation and you see no beam. Its less then .5 seconds of diffrence I think (it could be that lag affects the animations but not the wait before the damage tick). Its not super, but on the other hand watching a capital explode without even being hit by a beam makes it looks asif they ruptured it by sheer will.
suddenly its ult is a little bit better [e digicons];P[/e]
Honestly I'd much rather have it be some sort of new weapons technology than saying "they were too lazy to actually put turrets".
If they cant make them rotate.. and they started doing this with their fortress, all of its lasers are in the ring right? Besides, vasari dont have very pronouced turrets either. And hidden laser bays have a certain amount of class. Oh, and the side point defenses from the Eradica are
this is a bit late but I would be for the eredicata's passive buffing its attack speed not damage output, that would give it a more angry feel(which is the point right?). I have no clue how damage output is diffrent from attackspeed in total damage output though, I guess it would be less powerfull against shields because it gives them more hits they can increase mitigation from?
Nope, the lasers do not fire only from the gaps, which are actually more like small grooves, in the armor. They are fired from different locations on the flanks of the Discord, some in the grooves and others simply on the armor.
are you sure?, it could be its left/right bank is still fireing through it.. I thought this got fixed though. I'll look into it some more then. EDIT : the disc
the lasers are generally (atleast for the discord and coronata) fired from lines/gaps inbetween the armor plates. So you can assume internal turrets are hidden in those gaps/lines. No offense, but especially on the discord this is blatantly obvious.
I still see both Advent Titans firing some of their weapons from their walls, no weapons emplacements or weapons ports, just from the very walls a laser or plasma burst comes out (I see this visual bug/glitch only with the plasma, laser and point defense weapons, the beams all fire from correct positions). It's the same thing I see on the Discord battleship. Now the Discord fires its beams and plasma weapons correctly (from the front and from t

I couldnt find any open threads about these things so i figured i'd make my own [e digicons];)[/e] . This is intended for all the little bugs and graphical glitches that you notice, but arent game breaking enough to warrant seperate thread or agressive emails of angerness. This ability mimicks the Last Stand ability for Oak in DemiGods, a Stardock Game, in which after the character dies he basically goes nuclear and kills a crapload of peeps before finally meeting his end. This is one of the more devastating abilities in that game because that extra time alows him to exa
Just make them succeptible to capital ship skills, maybe to a lesser extent like 1/2 or 1/3 the duration. Meaning several capships could effectively shut down a titan, meaning its reduced to being a mobile fort/chunk of health/shields with lesser(depending on level) stats. right now they're only vurnerable to weapon/movement speed reductions, passive regeneration reductions, and maybe one or two antimatter skills (afaik) . I dont think they should be completely shut down(<e
Seems like a cool alternative. but 2/4 passives on a titan doesnt make me want to play with it.. I would personally change it like this: - have the ult prevent the titan from dropping below 1hp(not sure if it does this already orz) - reduce the duration - nulify its passive shield regeneration and limit purification to health only (its shields being restored by others is still allowed, this is advent afterall) - increase its armor(double it maybe?
4) Big Red Button Titan Power. Not a fan (especially since it is a high-level power anyway) -- perhaps something that would allow a "Memories of the Fallen/Retribution" power that allows the fallen Titan to be "rebuilt" for free at the facility -- or upon death, the Titan distributes it's XP to all friendly capital ships in the gravity well (50%/100% at Level 1 or 2)? That would be neat -- or, at least, to my mind, of more utility and still fit with
I seem to be in the minority who actually like how big the Discord is.
I dont mind it being big, it fits pretty well with their colony ship, but its current skin makes it appear small when you've got no other ships to compare it too. Especially the top plating. If they modify the texture to have more small details and other stuff that make it seem bigger it would fit better. Now whenever I have one flying around solo for a while
One more minor graphical annoyance, the discord battleship is BIG, a bit too big infact. Right now it basically dwarfs all the other advent capships, and since the radiance was already their smallest capship, and they fly next to eachother in fleets all the time, the size diffrence is rediculous to see. I'm all for reducing its size by 10-15% (making it about as long as their carrier). Its texture doesnt make it appear particulary big which helps with how odd it looks compared to other ad

I found some bugs too, I think. The discord battleship has its sideways batteries mixed up, as in some of its left side lasers shoot through it at the right side and vice versa. The loyalist titan stopped autoattacking for me, it still fired when I commanded it and still autofired abilities. but its kind of annoying having it just float there unless you specifically tell it to attack. Once it attacks it does attack multiple targets per bank, which
