[Edit] it was 5 in the morning when i wrote this because my cats were jerks, so have some compassion b4 shredding my grammar or punctuation [/Edit] As someone who plays both scII and sins, let me be the first here to clarify something: SCII is far from a click fest rush in 5 minutes and win/lose game. Anyone who claims that SCII is about rushing obviously has no grasp of the game or its mechanics. SCII is at its very core and in its very design an economy style of rts.

I run sins in window mode because of my use of multiple monitors and that need to not have it minimize completely away from view when i interact with my other monitor. this issue is ofc a more cosmetic thing. When i open the rebellion beta game, it opens a 1920/1080 window with the top left corner somewhere in the upper left quadrant of my screen, but not in line with my screen. the result is that i have probably a full quarter of the window off screen below where my mo

ya i made a game today vs a bunch of ai and they are a pretty big joke. all 5 of the ai i had in my ffa are unfair ai and they just let me walk over them. they build less ships now then before the .880 patch, which was bad enough before already! hopefully they can get to the bottom of it and get those ai up n running again to challenge us!!

of course we know its the beta, but commenting on the fact that there are crashes and minidumps is a good thing, as annoying as it might be. if more people complain then developers know there is an issue that needs fixing. The biggest point of it tho is that people need to submit the proper report to devs.

This might be a fair idea, however, spamming starbases to prevent loss of ownership of a planet isn't a bad idea =p expensive but not a bad idea.

I realize the pirate system has been discussed repeatedly and this idea has probably already been suggested but i just figured i would blurt out my thought on the subject in the beta feedback given that pirates continue to be a disappointment. Just a thought, but rather than, or in addition to the pirate bounty system, what if pirates would spawn in varying numbers (obviously not excessive numbers) at random all over the map (similar mechanic to the tec end game culture
Are you telling me you have Starbase before a titan? You are not doing a fleet because you don't like it? By the time the AI pulls out 14 cpaital and a titan you should have a well balanced massive fleet. You really must be doing somethign wrong.
Perhaps im a bit rusty but a few of those fights i had against a cruel advent ai my well balanced fleet with just 2 fewer capitals ran into a br

Back to the original topic: does anyone else notice the ai at varying difficulty levels not building subcaps in the mid to late game? I am repeatedly finding myself in combat against ai that ONLY have a titan and 10-14 capitals with zero support except what they mind control from my own forces.

hopefully it is a known issue but unless i just didnt read it clearly i didnt se a reference to it in the known issues post. Im sure you other single player folks would agree that it takes away from the game in the later stages to have such limited fleet diversity in your opponents

I was playing a single player game of the beta 2 and i noticed as the game went on that the AI slowly began to cut back on building anything other than capitals. At the moment in that game none of the ai have any sub capitals left except for a few envoys. Is this a bug or intended?
