Keep it all in single player then.. :/ how can you play competitively if your neutral factions are stronger or uncontrolled or random? RANDOM being the biggest word.

You still don't really get it. We're saying no because it's a stupid idea in Sins. With a random aspect already affecting gameplay so much.. you'd think you would want to stay away from that. What gets me is how many ultra casual players the game has. Simcity sounds like the game for you, in my opinion. Well no actually.. you guys would enjoy Anno 2070.. i have it, it's pretty decent and has all the stuff you're looking for.
yes but a good mix due to a quick counter via lfs.. hence why a pre mix works better so you aren't playing rock paper scissors.. also illums are better against structures ect..
I think when you have flak and illums together, corvettes are even more obsolete than just with flak. 20-30flak& 20-30 illums would still decimate 100 corvettes
That argument can be said with having 2 redbuttons covering the 2 sides of a grav well. Just bottling it off. And honestly if you play aggressively then you're not going to have the problem. As i said keep scouting and it'll pay off. And you can quite easily counter it until they either get a sb with endearing devotion or whatever... and then you can always jump your fleet through partially.. which can make it difficult to make a decision on using it or not? especially i
I think you missed the point i was making with beams range over the plasma itself, in terms of fleet effectiveness it makes sense to go beam research first. Secondly if you look at what i was saying, i'm aware the 1.5ruthless doesn't stack. I just said if you put 1 Destra in with 50 enemy ships.. theres your 75/s but i said 10-20 so they aren't sniped off too quickly to make ruthlessness useless or wasted. :) AND does no one read? Riddle that is exactly what i said
I only had 2 planets throughout the entire game.. i never built a fleet, i just ate one.. in the end i had - 800 fleet supply ;D Well yea that's true.. and the first roid i did take, MY planet order on whirlwind is normally roid, roid, ice, terran, des/roid
I suppose he's right.. when you start playing with the kinda of crap you just go away from playing a game that can be "semi-competitive" and then going into the realms of 4xturnbased or roleplaying. Good god if those changes happened i actually would stop playing. It would be retarded to again be subject to more random occurrences. Or at the mercy of a generator that gave some of your planets bonuses. Arguably artifacts do this anyway but since there are s
Illums are the best lrm against corvettes, i don't know what you guys are smoking but atleast when the corvettes bank around the illums will hit 270degrees rather than 100ish. Also i'd say illums are a great choice due to the upgrade path for their weapons... though same can be said for other factions, but what i'm getting at is.. and i consider advent to be my specialist race.. i rarely upgrade plasma until late game, due to illums/bombers and most cap ships using beams.<
you're certainly nuts...
Yea, there is no way that would be a decent addition to sins, unless a mod for yourself. We want nice smooth gameplay not the deep 4x stuff.. i mean we still do a bit of 4x'in but not to the extent of what you're suggesting. ANd you know.. i bought Endless space.. i loaded it, played the tutorial, deleted it.
Then that being said you've let them do that, you could novalith it, you could culture it out, you could kostura yourself past.. And if you keep pressure on they won't really get a good burst off, you have to wait for a decent amount of population. ALways assume the advent reb you're playing has it, then you dont need to scout, just avoid certain phase lanes/grav wells if you've scouted communion on them.
No since it's not part of the planets populace. Unless I'm mistaken the 50 pop goes on the sb?
I don't think it requires a nerf tbh... wail is sooooo situational its barely worth a mention. SURE you can make a mistake and get wailed, but on the other hand, wailing isnt usefull if you are winning, or playing well. It's great to protect a lane but on the whole i've used it, 3 times? On roids and any low pop planet its useless, and we dont get many terran/des that are in ideal spots.. HOWEVER a well placed wail on premade maps can mak
Exactly why it allows for streamlining of gameplay and then enhancement to the T on strategies and refining things. And yes it's me... they won't allow any of my pictures on the Avatars.. >.> haha But i know what i'm going to do in most cases, but on whirlwind i think you're gimping yourself with TAR since you could use the neutrals as good feed for a titan or marza. Brilliant expanding though.. tbh i played like a tit that game, i kn
I play AL.
Lol noob rage.. It's not like the ruin the game you can still play happily with 5 out fo the 6 races.. get a grip.
deliverance can be useful if a VL is trying to cap and eat enemy planets who have a ton of culture..
Since there are alot of premades you can cycle through them and it wouldnt take you long to learn the maps.. the map i played you on and rushed the roid was my second time on it.. i just memorised majority of it.. you can too.
Which is the point i was trying to make.. it is map dependant. Calm down darling
mobile starbases would mean the early game would be surely eliminated...
[quote who="Ekko_Tek" reply="9" id="3195762"] Quoting TheEvidence, reply 2Bonus 4: The frustrating part of this game is that no matter how much you work on improving your play, your chance of winning the game is still entirely dependent on your teammates (assuming you are not playing 1v1) and then luck factors of your starting position (whether you got good planets or not). Even if you have your most flawless game, if your teammate is letting you down or your opponent is getting fed

Unless i'm roid rushing you... o_o hehe but he's right guys.. in good hands they are a severe handicap for the enemy team, and if you decide to let an eco spot do it.. well you've already lost..
VR don't get the play. So the wins would be low. And ironclad are aware that there are issues with VR, they know the online community has an issue with them. They know they are banned from games.
