I had this issue with my laptop running a second screen. http://dualmonitortool.sourceforge.net/swapscreen.html This worked fine, just set it
Not much was dumbed down from my recalling, however if you consider the impact corvettes had on the game, it just shifted the style of gameplay. Couple of patches ago it shouldve been left alone as the balance imo was almost perfect. It actually required micro and macro to be the best. Right now very little macro is needed. I left honestly because of the lack of players and how long it would take to get something going, without any real semblance of happening.
It isn't considering half the top 20 are bad, but then who knows (:
no freya, no list, this doesn't exist.
Tbh Doci should've won so much harder... I expected more. (you suck) l2p (:
I think the idea is to kill the orky before it's built. Also to answer the OP, the thing about advanced tactics is more about being dynamic and adaptive against an enemy. Expanding, attacking, and keeping the enemy on the move or you in control.
I kick idiots, because I don't like them.. the only person in my black list is sleeper... aside from that, I made it a personal mission to talk down any host who kicked noobs. Personally speaking I could do the same to them when I hosted, unless you can beat me.. you're a noob and need to be kicked. If I did that over 90% of ico would be on my black list. It's not nice and doesn't help the community.
ah nevermind, I see the timer, you just played on
confused that the other players have 0 income? at some points.. so desync?
Due to illums attack arc, they dont really counter, especially when focusing other targets
do you even know the best way to raise diplomacy?
Also if he only had 2, then they will have down time. Especially when all AM is used, So get light frigates, get the steal antimatter upgrade.. and steal his. Bombers are also great against them, and you'd hardly need many for that size of a threat. Getting some yourself would be a good idea. However again, against 2 using only the shields to outlast and tank damage whilst it's up would be fine.
^ since when? I can't remember the last one that went over an hour.
Just a quick one, if you like being a supportive player, or in that role. Due to the random placement in multiplayer, you may be front line and will have to fight and now support.
yucky mods..
If they're competitive you'd assume they would want to defeat a human. Those games are 25-40mins.. Sometimes a little longer, but once one team has a decisive victory somewhere, most opposing teams will yield rather than dragging for another 45mins.
Try planet grabbing and reinforcing border worlds rather than working outwards slowly, push out far and then backwards once you have a nice territory.
He's a noob so his expansion is going to be slow, his resource gain is slow due to his knowledge of the resource mechanics. He lost a "equal" fight because he doesn't know which ships to target, it's not faction based. It's overall knowledge that you need to know. Read well and play more.
I'd always have 10-20 corvettes for the debuff and the ability to jump into a contested well and snipe the constructors.. need be jumping to back wells and doing the same. This can be incredibly damaging at early game.
and
Oh yea I agree on that too, which is why I will go lf/corvettes first and then change depending on the game. I know flak lose hard for the time spent investing into them and ofc the cash.
That's what happens when playing against ai. It's easy :/
Maybe that's why I beat the skilled players when playing then....
Flak's essential in a balance fleet, honestly you shouldn't listen to half the answers here. They're wrong. Firstly corvettes are a great starter to pull away and help clear planets and such. They are great at sniping early lrms and their debuff helps a great deal. If you aren't using them, you should. Light frigates are the current meta, if you don't have 60 within 10mins, you're doing something wrong, or eco. Now to balance
