Word of warning, RiddleKing is a known troll. An amusing one, but still a troll.

So when they are building culture invade them? Culture only really becomes a problem if you let it.
The only wrong with your complaint is that there are ships worse off.
During trinity their was an equal number of people willing to teach and people who wouldn't play with anyone without a record because of smurfing sadly. There was also a fair number of less then decent people like any other community. In general people do tend to be awesome and helpful though. Plus in Rebellion it's only going to get better. " Thus far, I'm able to pretty much manhandle the AI on unfair and don't really sweat too much when playing on vicious. I
The one interesting thing about Sins of a Solar Empire is Reapers wouldn't stand a chance in this universe. Did the release of Rebellion slow down this mod a significant amount of time? I have been looking forward to it for weeks. :(
Have you tried this? Or are you just pointing it out?
You might have had it in a fleet and not as the flagship. My ships do weird things sometimes when they are in fleets based on the fleet settings.
Yes but ever since we got corvettes and the Discord, Advent seems better to play now.
The corvettes more then the Discord, but when the other races have the exact same feature with no variation you cannot really call it an advantage.
Sorry if this turned into a bit of a rant, I'm studying to be a Math major and the misunderstandings about probability which abound are a bit of a pet peeve of mine
I don't see my misunderstanding and agree with everything said in this thread. My point was: It is very likely you with get no ships back. In hindsight I should have elaborated: It is li
Or all ten could come back. I think he realizes that over a great many ships destroyed, 1 out of every 10 will come back.
Statistically: Yes Realistically: Probably not. I agree with you, but the odds are bad.
"I mean, for every 10 you lose, you get 1 back" Not true. Gambler's fallacy. Just because you have ten ships does not mean any will come back. Every ship is a coin toss independent of the others. Every ship that dies has a 10% chance of returning. Those are bad odds no matter how you look at it.
What you are asking for is more of a Bot to kill your enemy for you. Their are ways to let you focus different units, but the game will not do it for you. Micromanagement is the only real solution to your problem. Sorry i wasn't much help.
The Devs have not decided on the Corvette's role yet. Most of the materiel is "beta" for a reason. These might change.
Assuming every AI is Vicious, what would be the best mindset for each one? Aggressor, Fortifier, Researcher, Economist. I am trying to max AI effectiveness for each faction and add a bit of RP. (Yes, I know Vasari are not released yet.) Mine currently: TEC Loyalists: Fortifier TEC Rebel: Aggressor? Advent Loyalists: Researcher Advent Rebel: Aggressor? Vasari Loyalist: I have no idea. Go read the wiki and a few up to date guides. The TEC have different advantages than the others. Best ecnomy, cheap units, and flexible to name a few. Also Marza Dreadnought is nicknamed the "Fleet killer" and Sova rush is an easy way to win a game.

You do realize the Tech has to be the same in 80% if the research tree so the game works? They are there so the game is the same for each race. Think of Starcraft 2, the races are different, but they all collect economy, build military, research. There needs to be overlap. The different Tech is to differentiate the races. The rest are essentials...boring yes, but needed. " ship that after tech up cannot be seen on radar....your enemy even after having t
The Unity is strong in this one... I liked the detail you put into this.
grr it kinda bugs me that people say the titans are OP and need to be moved on the tech tree they are TITANS! that's the point, plus the other titans haven't even been released so you cant say there OP unless you have all the other aspects of the game i think the reason most people think the titans are OP is because the AI is really stupid w
You do get a notice actually. A pirate voice comes on and says something piratish, but you have to guess where they spawned.
You would not have been billed 3 weeks ago for preordering. Get a picture? Also check your specific bank information online and double check.

Reading a book and glancing at my email every few seconds believe it or not.
You'll get in. I want your money. LOL
For some reason this reassures me.
Was there any actual post by the devs about how the beta would be released? My understanding is: Pre ordered = You get email today with beta key?
