I've had several games where I'll start a game and find myself to be on the planet farthest from the b right center to the universe... oh and a wormhole and or pirates within reach of most of the local junk I have nearby. Oh and I'm the Advent and there isn't a desert planet to be found anywhere near me... and not much crystal. Meanwhile a couple AIs pick up four planets all lined up together and connected within one jump of home and some nicely space

I'm ok with it. Just one titan tech that cost the same as the four techs combined would be out of place in the tech tree due to expesne, but it should be expensive. The Titan is a big deal. The lead up in the tech tree gives you the impression this is a big project everyone is working toward. Also cost and layout probably slows the progress in popping out a Titan super fast.
I'd rather it be tribbles.
Agreed. Zooming in on the end of a culture line or culture meeting point is a bit of a pain IMO, but I do it fairly often because that is the only option. I like to know where things are headed. Sometimes things shift unexpectedly. Seeing a simple arrow would be keen.
I'm with everyone else wondering what the heck I'm supposed to do with the Corsev. I keep going back to it thinking I'm missing some use for it or saying to myself "Well this thing has to do something..." I run into the AI using them (well driving around aimlessly) all the time and of course that only makes things easier for me.
I ran into space ponies today too. All I know is that I haven't seen a single living care bear in a system with space ponies yet... be careful.
I believe I've seen that myself. Usually when I have a big fleet so I don't bother to count everyone to be sure, but I'll go through a big battle and loose a lot of ships. Then I go to replenish them and start building ships (nothing was queued up before the battle) and ... I can't because I don't think fleet supply changed when the ships were destroyed.
So far in the Beta it seems like the AI is so focused on one goal that it sacrifices everything else, or rage quits. I've encountered a number of situations I think of as "rage quit" where after a few small battles I'll make a push into enemy territory and just hit a bunch of worlds sort of sitting there, like someone quit the game... and maybe I run across a capital ship wandering around aimlessly but that is about it. No idea what is up with that. They&
