Works for me too. It was quite handy when I got backdoored by AI using a wormhole. It looks like their gonna use a phase lane though, all get into position and everything, since I use grouped jumps, but then just straight stabilizer travel from A to B with no stops between.

I went for Occupation, but after taking it, the enemy only made one attempt at it, it was pretty feeble to be honest. Couple of capitals, a handful of cruisiers and maybe a dozen frigates, that ran away after losing 3 frigates and a kodiak, just fled the starbase I had sitting in the star though they could of probably taken it, I'd just left it there as a resupply and trade point, no weapons or hanger upgrades. Played for another couple hours thanks to an autocast novalith shot th
I see it being more damaging to your economy than getting novalith spammed myself. Especially given the potentially huge spaces they'd have to travel.
I want pirates to get a buff, I want them to be challenging, because after the first 15 minutes of play, they just end up becoming a pest more than anything. Even at max threat early in the game, their fairly easy to deal with.
I will forever haunted by him and Jasmine singing "its a whole new world...", I hate you Aladdin and I hate you Disney. Ruined me.
I agree, it would be nice, increase the limit of capitals to say, 50 or 60, so you can have large scale battles but without getting too carried away by having capital's still matter to you in some way, instead of becoming halycon #74, kol #124 etc etc etc.

Heck, that alone would make that victory condition heavily fought for. How else can you get the achievement to have every artifact at once?
It goes a little something like this: Player: Must...get...artifacts...must...! Friend: Hey, you wa

This is SINS of a solar empire, not fluffy bunny with pretty pink slippers of a solar empire!Don't forget about the Advent Envoy which is less commonly known as the "Aladdin Slipper"!
Is it wrong that I saw that as "Aladdin SlApper" and smiled at the mental image?
It gets me most, that I have 40% of the achievements already, working on equaling my Trinity score coz I'm that kinda geek, woe is me, but arg, denied achievement after all that work robbed me of something with the TEC now, just...cant sit back down with them knowing there could be something else to interfere with my e-peen. So really, its a question of are some bugged or just temporarily disabled? Coz I will get it, bug or no bug, as long as its not disabled. I will, oh yes, I wi
I have the same problem, I spent three hours working on it, so my military forces are a bit lacklustre at this point and are being beaten back because I only intended to go for the achievement, switch out and do the military one, but lack of achievement is sad.
Mine's are a known problem, the common approach seems to just bulldoze your titan through them. Same with TK Push. But with autocasting, are you sure they have enough antimatter to cast?
The alternatives have been discussed in most of the other threads on this subject.
"Do what I tell you, now, or I'm putting on Bryan Adams Greatest Hits" seems a particularly creative and barbaric method to me. But one atrocity now makes your position very clear right from the word "Nooooooooooooo!", just take a que from Genghis Khan, present them with what "No thanks, we're good" leads to, waste a lil now to show everyone their exact place. Serving their betters.
I'd sooner nerf Novalith's than Wail, I have no problems with it except the "arg, my fleet!" moments. But thats why I have factories and an economy.

Thats pretty much the jist of it as far as I can tell Pat, and I couldnt agree with you more.
I still wish there was a way to take over planets without knocking everything over. Perhaps a "Debate" tech. on the diplomacy tree. You could start out as a Novice and end up a "Master". Backs out of the room slowly...
I see what you did there.
But whats relatively early? I'm taking a break from my current game which is minimized down on my taskbar, according to the save I just made its 38 seconds short of the 3 hour mark, and I'm having to divert my fleets away from their intended targets to tackle their fleet, which pulls back when my fleets combine, while they just blow up whatever planet I'm defending with a few novaliths. And I'm still trying to get my economy working to the point of "it'll be fine,
Flagships were re-added, just not in the way you'd hope for. Flagship victory condition now.
Zoom out and click the system, it'll give you a bit of info as to what it does, though I think the clouds effects are disabled at present.
Sometimes, I like to toy with them before I purge the planet. I'll wait till the pop gets low, then retreat my ships to the edge of the gravity well, wait for the pop to build back up a bit before going back in. I'm not racist though, I'm speciest. If you are an alien species, you have no place in my dominion, not even as the guy who restocks the vending machine.
Well, from what I'm reading, its bad for text, but good for graphics as a whole as it smooths them out. "its a different type of AA. It takes edges and blurs them together adjusting the colors respectively." So just feel a little short sighted while you get into the game, then enjoy the visuals.
Just loaded up to check, everything looked fine. Loaded a game to check loading screen and in-game text, still looks fine.
Personally, I'd like to see the pirates finally get a capital ship for when they reach maximum threat, just the one...one big spanish galleon that is! I know that pirates arent meant to have access to such and such tech, cant have that ship or that one, that they have a pretty small diversity of ships, but surely once enough has been invested into them to get their max threat, they'd find some way to have a fleet composed of more than just frigates and cruisers.
And even easier than disabling a screen, download Cursor Lock. Its free, its clean, its available on Cnet, and it works. Granted its not a permenant fix but its what I've been using for Total War from Empire right through the latest expansion. It takes all of 2 minutes to setup and get running. Saves having to disable monitors everytime.
