Trading over time in TA in Twilight of the Arnor GalCiv2 Forums

I have been reading guides and stuff, but when I go to sell tech to aliens and hope for a steady monthly income from them, there seems to be no option to do it. The guides seem to imply that this is doable. They are, however quite old guides as I could find nothing concerning anything newer than Dark Avatar. Is it still possible to sell tech and require the alien to pay for it over a lengthy space of time?
