I didn't play in Diplo so maybe I just have more patience for the balance issues where older players don't. Maybe balance is the main reason for the old timers to leave, I don't know, but I don't think it is the main reason for the majority. It is not perfect but I don't think it is bad enough alone to account for the huge drop. A lot of new players came in with Rebellion so there must be more to the drop of numbers than just b

Is it because of frustration over forever-unresolved core balance issues? Is it because ultimately sins is an indi game and rebellion will join the other sins titles in abandonment? discuss

Also, vorastra with maw still OP, u cant use corvettes against its other aoe... so maw not affecting corvettes in effect... does nothing, LESS than nothing by lulling u into false sense of security thinking to counter it with corvs. Do the devs (AKA manatees in a pool) even fkn play this game?

was I the player with the marza? sorry bout that ;) but yea he left way too early if its the game im thinking about. I guess its the risk you run when u have noobs on ur team who dont understand that a wiped fleet does not a loss make, a dc however does often mean a loss. trick is to forewarn them if you can, If you see they are about to get pwned, try to prepare them for that pwnage and ask them not to be too butthurt and stay on with the fight, maybe toss dat noob some creds

Naturally I have to assume that you are applying this view to the rest of your post. Agreed, pirates are made inactive in MP anyway. Really, inactive pirates should mean they are not even there at all. Or maybe pirates having no XP reward would bring them back into MP as they become a true nuisance and not just an XP feed

personally i like the way the SBs (minus orkulus) are at the moment. Ive put the transciencia to awesome use at chokepoint gravity wells, in combination with a half decent fleet ive taken down far stronger opponents inc higher lvl titan at once. The argonev is also deadly if used correctly either as BRB OR as defensive structure (or both) the key is as always, placement. Its stupid to load up all ur gravity wells with SBs, too costly and ineffective. If you use them i
This topic still is quite relevant, as you see even less use of non vasari starbases then ever before. Would be nice to actually have a reason to use the cool starbase idea instead of having it phased out over time. This would allow the developers to deal with the balancing of the vasari rebels with a multi front approach (sorely needed, imo) as well.
Mobile Transciencia would be far more OP than Vas SB.

Stardock probably has acknowledged something is wrong with their game, as there are countless threads discussing how op is the Orkulus and how to balance it. I was merely pointing out what seems obvious, rather than dealing with the huge elephant in the room of balancing that is jumping orkies, VR titan, maw, and wail, SD seems to focus on things like slight nerfs to ragnarov, a superweapon cap, the above mentioned slight range nerf to BRB, even the buff of the AR titan. do ya feel me?! these last four things PALE in comparison to the big balance issues, advents weakness would be best solved by fixing these big issues first, THEN when thin

Meh Dunov Simply a must have if you're playing as Tec Rebel to keep ur titan alive and spamming abilities, and EMP shuts down enemy abilities excellently. 3 of these guys combined with the ragnarov will have your opponent crying OP very quickly ("WHY WONT IT FKN DIE!!") especially if one of them is at l
