Thank you very much :) I've edited some other stuff before, but Artifacts are new to me.

So, the title- my friends and I occasionally play and I'm rebalancing the game a bit for our tastes (I.e. Long Range Frigates actually being long range, for instance.) And the big one I"m running up against is one of the artifacts is pretty much considered a joke prize; the anti-bombardment one, as twenty percent MAY be a lot- but it just means the massive bombardment fleet just hovers over the planet a bit longer. How easy would it be to rearrange that to add, say, +10% or
Dang. You wouldn't happen to know -what- 'FAIR' means offhand, would you? You've been awesome about everything else... [e digicons][/e]
Question- in the new one for Rebellion. What does "FAIR" after a planet-type mean?
Woah, they actually INCLUDED it? Awesome! Question- is there a guide somewhere? There's a lot of different options o.O for instance, "FAIR" after a planet type. That's new.
So, first off, apologies if this is in the wrong place. I wasn't exactly sure where to put it. WHERE is the Galaxy Forge version compatible with Rebellion? I know I've seen some custom maps, so there has to be -something.- but I can't seem to find it! I'd kill to be able to convert some of my old custom maps for use with the new expansion.
I usually started at 1 Akkan and 12 Cobalts. I assume that's too low, then. At least it explains why I was getting whupped.
So wait, hang on. I'm supposed to colonize- and then leave the enemy defenders there, to somehow pick them off later? O.o I've -watched- the AI (Via probes, yay probes!) And they don't do that- they somehow dispatch those defenders like they're not there! Also, ye gods. Is it just me or is the utterly pitiful income rate from Sins even more pitiful in Rebellion, even on 'fastest economy?' I mean, there's something -wrong- when I'm staring
So, I used to play Sins a lot. I drifted to other games, saw Diplomacy and went, "Aha! This is wonderful!" But I -suck- apparently. I'm even going up against just EASY AIs. And I'm getting bent over and spanked like a child. I'll have two, maybe three planets colonized- I'll be fighting HARD to colonize the next one- and the AI will own the -entire- map. It's as if they somehow can completely bypass those insanely annoying defenders around each planet. I know
gah, is there an easy template for this or something? I can't get them to line up.
ah, thanks. So what are the large ones used for, out of curiousity?
So, I found the 'racelogos.tga' file and went, 'hey! I can edit this!' However; when I edit it and place it in a mod's 'texture' folder, they don't show up ingame... Do I have to do something special to them? I have attached my file, for reference's sake. http://www.2shared.com/file/NIvFqV5Z/RaceLogos.html here's the modified file I made if anyone wants to poke at i
