absolutely brilliant. Works exactly as described. So far the AI has been nothing but exemplary, loving every minute. The only thing I'm worried about is how it will manage at end-game. Wish I had a newer / faster computer so i could 8x it :P Thanks all, great info here :)

oh cool. Well I assume then, that players that play the same race can use the same research item? (I hope not?)
@Ben_Maxwell I am wondering the same thing. The only theory I am coming up with is making a duplicate player definition, but setting it 's IsSelectable to false. So like copy A.] PlayerPhaseLoyalist.entity and name it B.] PlayerPhaseLoyalist_AI.entity, add it to the manifest of course. Then change [B]'s isSelectable to false, and [A]'s remain true, except somehow disable the AI from using [A]? Just an idea there. I'm also looking into that, cau
totally agree, thank you for the response. Just wish I had some method of instructing them how to operate, just a simple if this do that, else if this, do else if , else... do last resort. That kind of thing. Here's one thing I'd like to ask directly though regarding this topic:
I've found that if you give the AI capital ships that level up to 3 as soon as they are built the AI will spam capital ships. It isn't
Hi. I would like to inquire as to why major portions of this game, especially in Rebellion as it is the latest installment yet no change was made, are hardcoded? Considering these systems integrate with the modding system so heavily, is it not counter-intuitive to restrict them so heavily? The AI System is one thing that really should not be hardcoded. I've actually never played an RTS that maintains it's AI system constraints inside executable code. And I

I also appreciate your cordiality, which is truly noteworthy given the subject matter and overly direct questions. Unfortunately, many tutorials and guides were held by a sole individual. Maybe one day he will return http://soase.x90x.net/
are you taunting us? lol :P

A good case in point. I for instance, may find malice in the fact that you disregard my posts noting the validity in causality - results are subject to causes. And yet I am being told such is not true, when it most clearly is. Only when you attempt to diagnose insanity, or quantum mechanics, is such not true. And given his track record in the community, I highly doubt Mr. Weebly has gone insane or realized his particles-of-being occupy two places at once, as it were. I
Thanks for the info kryo. While I respect and trust your analysis, I firmly believe that if there was a reaction, there was something to cause it. Sometimes things said can be very demeaning, especially when shared publicly. Moderators tend to have that trait - it is both how they maintain order (weeding out unnatural conversations given site context) and it is also their downfall in that they truly believe themselves of ordain authority to dismiss anyone or anything they feel like
Well the webpage has a meta redirect pointing to soase.x90x.net , and x90x.net is not running an active apache service. It still has the domain registrant active, some dude in amsterdam running a webhost service - who is no longer maintaining the HTTP service. So that explains the lack of proper redirect. It is quite possible that the x90 site would be working, if the apache service was running. The soase.weebly site still has all the css and javascript that the page normally
why won't you guys mention the mod that caused this? Is it not the point of the weebly site going down, to prove to that moderator that he is less useful than the fans that drive the mod community - upon which he so un-righteously has applied his wrath in excess? If no one says who this idiot is, then how can we expect to ever get the weebly site back up? And if we don't get the weebl
