A flashier announcement in the middle HUD would be an improvement, along with a highlight on the map would be an idea.
Does the DLC social/industrial buttons have any effect in this mod?
Thought of a good one...... A mini fleet(lost,disabled,) is spawned somewhere on the map...first player to reach them, acquires the lost fleet.
It would be nice if a simple "Superweapon complete" was played upon completion. For such an accomplishment you would think it would be announced. [e digicons]:D[/e] Also in the search bar where I can look for scouts,colonizers, etc..how about a superweapon search?
I know creating a map I can get the neutrals to have hangers, turrets etc... but it would be nice to have a slider so even random maps could be more of a challenge.
Whats with the misleading post as if your somehow a dev.....?

Open Rebellion: Never liked any spawned attacks from out of no where. Losing the planet instantly is a double NO NO to the devs.
Any chance at set up, we could have Random teams but not the one you are so the enemy is a surprise......
So in order to see the most new content a random map should be played? And at any time will preset maps be infused with the new content?

Is the game going to have that spinning 3d star chart that I played on the Genesis version? I loved the strategy behind that....
I mentioned it in another thread, any chance you could use the Sins engine or a (modern version) to make this game? Or even make it a add-on to the Sins verse? I'm very interested in this game, I just don't see the pleasure of a top down 2d ish space battles in 2014. unless it's for your future tablet/smartphone expansion plans.

Idea. Wouldn't it be cost effective/brilliant for Stardock to mesh the StarControl aliens into the Sins engine as a stand alone game title? It would also enable Sins players to have additional races to play(dlc) at no extra development costs to Stardock.
Do we have more info?
