I have to agree with the consensus -- I like the skins that have all the fancy-schmancy animations and such -- but when it comes to everyday usage, I stick to the clean lines and minimalistic styles. Funny, but I had downloaded every one of the ones you have in this article, already. It sorta makes me feel special. Heh.

1. Congratulations to all of the creative geniuses that slave over these beautiful skins! 2. Where can I download Luna HoE!?
Thanks, Lat (cute) and Frogboy. I appreciate your writing back. I ended up having to uninstall and reinstall DX but they work. I will try the slim version, though, too. I'll keep tweaking this XP box until I break it. Hah! p
I guess I didn't have my microphone turned on or something. You know, I've not done a total, but I've spent quite a bit of money between Stardock and Wincustomize I thought SOMEONE would offer to help. I guess I really didn't ASK a question the first time, so this time I will attempt to be more succinct: To whom do I address a request for a refund, if in fact, I cannot make the aquarium and DX2 coexist peacefully? Regards, Margi
Er. . .I know it's not the latest and greatest, but I thought the GeForce was a fairly decent video card. I'm wondering if the DX2 problems are because of the latest beta. I guess I'm on my own, here.
I have been having trouble with DX2 after installation of this aquarium thing, myself. I don't think it's my system but here are my specs: Dell 1.79Ghz Pentium 4 CPU 2.00GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce2MX XP Home DX2 hangs and ramps up CPU cycles to 100% (and stays ther) and will not close unless I "end process" from the Task Manager.
Loveliness. As soon as I saw it, I purchased, downloaded, and installed. Soothing and very well done. I only saw one little glitch (?) when the windows are rolled up, there is a break in the graphic on the far right corner. But I can live with that. Just thought I'd pass it along. I'm such a happy camper! Early Chriskwanzukka present for myself.
Since I'm such a download piglet (Braaaap! Excuse me.) I re-upped. Thank you so much for all your hard work. I enjoy every bit of Stardock/WinCustomize -- wouldn't Windows without ya!
It's KarmaSantaGirl! How cool of you to do that. One of these days I will be brave enough to actually DO my own skin. *sigh* Someday. Until then, I'm enjoying all the wonderful work of others.
Brad, you DO have my credit card digits on your Rolodex, don't you? Heh. I've paid twice what I should for software and am already subscribed to Wincustomize. Do you have a "donation" plate you can pass around? I'd be glad to help as much as I can.
Thanks Froggie baby. I was almost ashamed to admit that I had (in the past) used WinStyles. NOW, with your help, I can take them and tweak them, and love them and bring them home and call them "George". I will do some playing around and if I can come up with an answer for you, MontyXP (and DPG) I will post back. Thanks again, Frogboy! You RAWK!
From what I've heard, we'll have to wait until 2006 to enjoy it, though. (http://www.microsoft-watch.com/) I can't help but think that *might be a good thing. We'll have time to save up the money to buy the new OS, MS will release a more stable product, and folks will be running to buy Object Desktop in droves -- for some XP change-ups. Heh. Just a thought.
Thanks very much, Goodmorphing. 'Preciate.
Well, what a 'tard. I didn't link the image properly and I double-posted. WTG. Geezsh. Sorry.
I love my purple desktop. I want to give some lovin' to: adni18 for the Shine Icons Zodiac for the BP-XPG Purple Windowblind sed for the Tybersis wall pinchecl for the SysMetrix (which I tweaked a little in Photoshop) The Cursors are the Cursor XP default and the Rainlender is a tweaked version of the original. I work from home and h
