I returned here after god knows how long to say one thing: F*** YES
WOEaintME
A few things: I think you've overused commas in some spots. A good example is "Every so often , the fleeing Vasari populace , referrring to themselves now as the Exodus Fleet , would stop in a region of space..." I would say the first comma changes the intended meaning to a nonsensical meaning. You use the word "Siphon", am I correct in assuming this is the same as Stripped to the Core? If yes, then I recommend
Is anyone sick and tired of Seleuceia's and Goafan's trolling?
He lives.
You mean do the UV map?
That's what I said ;) Haha, yes, my apologies. I gave them the textures and they made it work so I call that "doing the textures" when it really should not be called that.
My solution was to have someone else do the UV mapping. So in all honesty, no, I did not figure this out [e digicons]:([/e]
You should have no trouble running Sins Rebellion at max settings with that setup and achieving great framerates (until late game, how late depends on map size of course). I have the same GPU and an equal amount of RAM (only processor is different and even then it's only slightly).
Technically there is a way to "destroy" planets without stripped to the core. However, for the most part the only modders who know how are like me and don't think that's a feature that helps gameplay. Maybe I'll do it in a for fun minimod or a special map, but I'd never want it to be apart of the main game.
I debated saying "In other words, it can't be done (although if it can be done Goa is the guy
I dont know what STTC is so I'm going to assume you said "because science".
STTC is Stripped to the Core. It's a vanilla Vasari Loyalist ability that changes the current type of planet for another type (generally an asteroid, dead asteroid, or asteroid belt). It doesn't function as an ability but rather it is a side effect of scuttling a planet after having researched the necessary techs. In other
Yes, I know - but how do you get your fleet past that sb ?

Bomber spam is how all races counter TEC SBs...
As has already been said, once your fleet arrives let the bombers take out the starbase(s). Once the starbase(s) has (have) been destroyed by your bombers then you can pass through the gravity well without getting BRB'd.
If your mouse has it's own software (like the Logitech Gaming Software) try mapping a mouse button to the Pause-Break key (default pause key for Sins). I know with the Logitech software you could manually select a key and not have to press it but I don't know about more current versions.
If you're playing as the Vasari against the AI an Antorak Marauder start to rush the Stabilize Phase Space ability is always a blast. This is especially true if playing as the Vasari Rebels. Choose Marauder starting Cap Research Starbases, Phase Stabilizers and Mobile Starbases while the Marauder levels up to Lvl 6 Send Marauder to enemy homeworld Phase jump a fully upgraded Orkulus to the enemy homeworld Profit
Two accounts created this month - Check Two accounts talking about the Ankylon/Flak Titan - Check One already a suspected hydra - Check I wonder if... ahh, nevermind
Ya did it kid! Ya did it!
How many heads does a hydra have? I don't know, how much karma can Sinkillr whore?
I think most people who play MP agree that the DE is getting out of hand. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
We need to nerf the real superweapons in game. I'm talking about flak of course. Once we nerf flak then we can move onto lesser issues like this.
It's funny how little zombie understands about the game.
It's funny how much you necro old threads to whore the karma
...Goafan is always right? I mean dayyuuummm, this guy has been just spot on on at least 18 different occasions. He combines the integrity of Cato, the oratory of Cicero, the charisma of Caesar, the virtus of Octavian, and the dignity of Pompey. Sinkillr is truly a figure that all members of the community should strive to imitate. He is our Augustus.
Bahahahaha. Ah, that&
I think the sova is the best because missile batteries is one of the most OP abilities in the game.
Kol because it has Flak Burst
I would post a replay if I didn't care about my well being
Are you loading a save or starting a new game? Your post leads me to believe you are loading a save in which case if your mod has changed from save to reload then I'm not surprised it's crashing.
Spam corvettes and flak simultaneously. Vettes take out titans, flak takes out everything else. Basically flak spam on roids.
I remember this one time when I forgot to give Sinkillr karma... Luckily I can always go back and give karma on posts I missed.
[e digicons]k1[/e] I foresee a lot of douple, triple, etc. posts in this new karma thread you have created.
