Extend Ship Range with Starbases in GalCiv III Support GalCiv3 Forums

Can ship range extended by Starbases? Are there technologies to research, and modules to add to do do this? Or is it not possible?

Following up on this game: I finaly arranged the alliance with the Alterians. The key was declaring war on the Arceans (who were Alteran's old enemy - the Alterans and Arceans had previously fought out a long war, and were currently at peace). After my attack it wasn't long before the Alterans went to Close, then accepted the Alliance, and declared war on the Arceans in support. Under View on Stardock Central, check the "Show Pre-Release Versions" option and the beta should then appear in the software list.

"Partial refund..." because they can't get daily updates!!! "comparatively inferior service" what on earth are you talking about? There are no "rights" here, there is no "constitution" for game patching. This is the best game company product support I have every seen - it is stunning in comparison to what has gone before....! Yikes.... so soon they forget. What most other game patching is like - occasional patches spread other months - if you are lucky. RA ~SDC~

Quest for the perfect game in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

But what is a perfect game? We all have our own definitions but mine is a strategy game in which after the game opening period the contending sides are pushing against each other, manuvering for the smallest advantage. The game is poised in the balance for a long time, and then one player [hopefully me :) ] makes a key move, begins to move ahead, fights off the counter attacks and earns a hard fought victory. The best game I remember for that experience was with the original Populous
