I only bought the game the other day. Drivers are all up to date. Xeon Dual core 3.0 ghz, 4 gigs of ram, 8800 GTS Nvidia with 512mb. Should be ample. And it was fine up until the 3 hour mark.

Hi all, I am 3 hours into a HUGE map SP game. My TEC control about 15 planets. The game now freezes for about 10 seconds every 1 or 2 minutes. Its become unplayable. Is this a known issue? Any work around? I have all my settings on max but the game is playable - never shown any lag in the biggest space battles. Restart/reboot didn't help. Is it a map issue? Really don't want to abandon this game since its the first one I am winning :)<br

What does the broadcast station do? Just reduce allegiance? If so what is the effect of that exactly?
Just got this game and I love it. However I always seem to be getting rolled back by the AI 2 to 2.5 hours into the game. I tend to have nice big fleets and can hold or take back anything tha falls but I always get 2 or 3 AI attacking me at the same time and in the end I dont have the resources to hold. Playing TEC on multi/huge (105 planets). I tend to ignore diplomacy, maybe this is the issue. I also expand slowly - usually have about 6 planets when the AI rollba
