I'm having the same problem with the patch. Anyone got a solution?

I'm having the same problem. About halfway through the update download I get an error message. Anyone know a good fix for this?

I agree with the thoughts posted above -- don't underestimate the power of well defended planets. I typically identify the key entry-points into my space and super-fortify those planets/asteroids.
