i mean, why write it "hard code" in 32 bit? there should be more than enough 64 bit win 7 OS's out in circulation to warrant at the very least writing Rebellion in code that would work better with 64 bit machines. Hell, sins itself came out when win7/vista was definitely about to be released. Writing this stand alone game in a "Softer coding" that would perform well with win7 64 bit would have solved a lot of your headaches concerning that old fashioned 2Gig rule for memory.
yes, if i enable the following races, my game wont even start. Races are the following; Alliance, new republic, CIS and CORE. I get a negative checksum. i believe it was the creator that said that the checksum being negative had nothing to do with the mod crashing, but If those 4 races regularly crash the mod, why send it out to the public. It's not stable enough to play. I'm very interested in this mod as i love the star wars universe!
yes, thanks, myfist0, I was just gonna work with the generic files that are in text format from Harpo's reference files. This is what i'm looking to do... i want to increase planetary defense, like boosting the hanger defense file and and making all races star bases be able to move around a gravity well also shoot at least half the distance of a grav well. I tried to boost certain things in the planetary hanger defense file, but i think that file was the one that crash
how do i make a mini mod that would work with lots of mods. hi Harpo, yes i just got done verifying the install in steam as you said. it says the files are verified. Then i did as you suggested and deleted the settings folder in my games folder and restarted steam and rebellion to no avail. The game is stuck in the sins-plus mod. I had forgot that i had the mod activated before i started messing with the Galaxy folder to increase the number of artifacts on a map. How do i do a hard removal of a mod from the "enabled" part of th
yeah, i messed up :( now the game is broken and i don't know how to make steam uninstall the rebellion game so i can reinstall it. I put the original file back to what it originally was, but to no avail. I shut down the steam client, but it still wont reset to the original settings. For right now i just want to upgrade the starbases to actually have "extended range" that means half of the gravity well and for all bases to move. hi yes, i downloaded teh above mentioned rar from the dolynick page. i downloaded this particular one cause it was supposed to include all 3 of his/her mods. the way in which i read what he wrote was that this rar would install all three mods in the proper order and in the proper place in my modsentrenchment 1.04 mods folder just like any other mod made specifically for sins-entrenchment 1.04 mods. wtf? how difficult is it to clearly write install instructions to install somet
